PRESS RELEASE

Today on 13.07.2026 the monthly welfare meeting of the proang District Jammu was convened at DPL Conference Hall Jammu presided by Tarsem Pal Rtd. Sub Inspector ,President Proang District Jammu. Shri Dheeraj Singh Katoch-JKPS DYSP DAR Jammu graced the meeting as chief guest and Shri Rajinder Kumar Sub Inspector Lines officer DPL Jammu as guest of honour.
The President addressed the participants and briefed about mission and vision of the association and lighton the present status of the pay anomaly case which is still sub-judice in the court of law and other burning issues pertaining to the pensioners as well as in service policemen.
Shri Kuldip Raj Sharma Rtd. Sub Inspector who is suffering from a serious disease and have spent a lot of money on his treatment was provided with a small help of ₹ 5000/- from the association as token of love.
Shri Dheeraj Singh Katoch DySP DAR Jammu while his address appreciate the work of PROANG District Jammu and assured every possible support/help as and when required.
The executive body including Shadi Lal Genl Secy, Radha Sham Cashier, Ravi Kumar Organizer, Makhan Lal Sharma Media Secy Proang District Jammu and a good number of members attended the meeting. Shri M K Pandita, Suraj Parkash, Shadi Lal- Genl Secy also spoken on the occasion.
The meeting concluded in a friendly atmosphere with a cup of tea with a vote of thanks by Makhan Lal Sharma Media Secy Proang District Jammu who thanked SSP Jammu, DySP DAR Jammu, Lines officer DPL Jammu and I/C recreation for logistic sport.

In view of the weather advisory issued by the GMC Jammu regarding severe hot waves in Jammu, wherein elderly people have been advised to avoid outing during day time. As such keeping in view the health of our esteemed members, the meeting which was scheduled to be held at DPL Conference Hall Jammu on 12.06.2026 is hereby deferred as decided by the Executive body Proang District Jammu.
