Appreciation for Our Future Mental Health Professionals

We sincerely appreciate the B.Sc. Nursing students of St. Martha Institute of Nursing, Guwahati, for choosing Destination: A Real Home for Persons with Special Needs as their fieldwork practice centre across our three rehabilitation homes.

We hope this exposure has enriched their understanding of mental health and disability care, strengthened their empathy, and equipped them with valuable practical experience in providing compassionate, person-centred nursing care to individuals with mental health challenges and special needs.

Our heartfelt gratitude also goes to St. Martha Institute of Nursing and its dynamic Director, Mr. Jitto K. Thomas, for their continued collaboration with Destination in promoting mental health awareness and empowering future nursing professionals through experiential learning.
