Lions club Loretto Agrar on account of Kargil Divas felicitated 2 retired military personnel at their residence
Lion Leo Pinto retired military personnel and Lion Hilda Pinto, Mr Antony Albuquerque residing at Farla with his wife Mrs Irene Albuquerque.

Installation ceremony of the office bearers of Lions club Loretto Agrar took place on 6th of July at Lions Seva Mandir B.C.Road.

Lion Govardhan Shetty, PMJF, our 2nd Vice District Governor district 317D, installed the new committee and administered the oath to the PSTs and all office bearers. The dynamic ladies on all 3 key posts,
President- Ln Philomena Rodrigues,
Secretary- Ln Fiona Triola D'souza,
Treasurer- Ln Janet Concesso
took oath along with the Leo PST,
President- Leo Neysa Gayleen Pinto,
Secretary - Leo Glenys Josvita Veigas
Treasurer - Leo Ashel Jackline Sequeira.

3 new members were inducted.

8 students were felicitated for their academic excellence.

Service activity amounting to 2.66 lakhs was done during the installation ceremony for various beneficiaries.

"Under the banner of Lions & Leo Club Loretto Agrar, Children's Day was celebrated on 14th November at Aided Kannada Medium School, Loretto. Stationery kits were distributed to 135 students, thanks to the generous sponsorship from Ln Joel Coelho and the active support of Lion members. This initiative aimed to provide essential learning materials and bring smiles to the young faces on this special day."

On November 14, 2024, the Lions Club Loretto Agrar organized a Peace Poster Competition at Loretto CBSC School. Students from various grades participated, creating posters centered on a given theme.
The event was successful in promoting peace and unity among students, and both the school and Lions Club aim to make this an annual tradition to inspire more young artists.

Lions Club Loretto Agrar, along with the Leo Club Loretto Agrar, in collaboration with Loretto Parish and Amtady grama Panchayat, organised the Swachhata Abhiyan on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October 2024. The event likely emphasized cleanliness, in line with the principles of Mahatma Gandhi, who championed cleanliness and hygiene as a key part of community well-being. This initiative would be a fitting tribute to his vision of a clean and self-reliant India.
