On 17-05-2026, We have successfully Distributed PSWS Scholarship and Book Grant along with Study Materials to the Class VI, VIII,XI, XII & Graduation ( MBBS) students.
For the Class XII students we have distributed scholarship/ book grant amount for both the classes i.e for Class XI ( Academic Session 2025-26) and Class XII ( Academic Session 2026-27).
Academic Session: 2025-26 and 2026-27

No. of Students as follows:
Class VI: 1 Student (Scholarship)
Class VIII: 1 Student ( Book Grant)
For Class XI : 18 Students
For Class XII : 18 Students
MBBS- 3rd Year: 2 Students

We are always there for the needy and meritorious students for the betterment of society....

PSWS is determined and dedicated for support and guidance for the needy and meritorious students......

This is to inform that if there are Students having 75% or above marks in Secondary Exam (Madhyamik Pariksha)-2026 and want to continue their study for higher Secondary but can't afford the expenditure due to insufficient financial condition of their family and inadequate guidance , may contact us for guidance and financial assistance of Book Grant & Scholarships. We will be there for financial help & guidance for their studies.
Area: Dist of Bankura , around MTPS , Such as G Ghati , Amarkanan, Maliara, Durlavpur, Barjora , Mejia as well as other districts of West Bengal.

Last date of Application : 15.06.2026.

Required Criteria:
1. Annual Family Income: 1.2 lakh (Max). Income certificate to be produced (BDO or Equivalent/above BDO level).
2. Minimum Marks in Class X (Madhyamik): 75%. Xerox Copy of Marksheet to be Submitted.
3. Admission Slip of Class XI to be produced during verification.
4. Application Letter in Plain paper addressing to The In-charge, Prerana Student Welfare Society, Bankura must be submitted along with other documents.
5. The student must mention the details of Requirements and need for financial assistance for further studies.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Madan Mohan Akhuli Sir, our beloved and renowned Biology teacher. He was a gentle, talented, and kind-hearted person whose guidance and free coaching touched so many lives. He selflessly gave free biology tuition to PSWS students and supported our mission wholeheartedly. Spoke with him last week about our April–May 2026 book and scholarship distribution. His loss is deeply felt by PSWS.
May your soul rest in peace, Madan Mohan Akhuli Sir. 🙏🙏🙏

Distribution of Study Materials – Class XII Books, notebooks, pens, and Dista khata were distributed to students of Class XII Students....

A heartfelt thank you to all PSWS members for your dedication and commitment to the welfare of our society and students.

If any student is unable to continue their studies due to financial hardship, despite having good academic performance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We have been committed to guiding and supporting needy and meritorious students in their educational journey since 2016.

PSWS – A sincere initiative to ensure that no meritorious student is deprived of education due to financial constraints.

Even today, some students struggle to move forward due to poverty and lack of proper guidance.

Our aim is to provide them with the right direction, inspiration, financial support, and educational guidance.

We are happy to share that we successfully completed the following events on 04-05-2025 ( Sunday):

Distribution of educational materials – Books, notebooks, pens, and Dista khata were distributed to students of Class X, Class XII, Graduation, and MBBS levels.

Distribution of PSWS Scholarships – Financial scholarships were awarded to meritorious students of Class X, Class XII, Graduation, and MBBS courses.

Launch of Free Coaching Classes – Free science coaching classes have been arranged for Class XII students preparing for Engineering, Medical, and Higher Secondary exams.

A heartfelt thank you to all PSWS members for your dedication and commitment to the welfare of our society and students.

2. Distribution of PSWS SCHOLARSHIP to the students of class V-XI & Graduation, MBBS.
