By the Grace of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna and Holy Mother Sarada Devi, Sihas Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sadhan Mandir at Sihas, Dist: Bankura, West Bengal was founded in a beautiful Country side situated at 12 Km away from Joyrambati Matri Mandir, Bankura and towards Bishnupur near Kottulpur Crossing. This small Ashrama is trying relentlessly endeavoring to propagate the ideas of Sri Ramakrishna and S
wami Vivekananda in this area. In Ashrama building, the daily worship of Sri Ramakrishna and evening prayers are performed on the 1st floor of the hall and with lots of hindrances some activities are being carried out in the hall at the ground floor which are as follows:-
- Running Primary School,
- Free Coaching Centre,
- Library & Allopathy / Homeopathy clinic twice in a week.
- Books etc. and Monetary help to poor students,
- Scholarships to Talented poor students,
- Distribution of Blankets and Clothing to poor people of the surrounding villages,
All above activities alongwith our future programs are to be carried out in a large scale in days to come. We have estimated a fund of worth of Rs. 1.5 Crores approx in order to add further Infrastructure of the Ashrama such as purchase of adjacent land , construction of buildings with boundary wall for Primary school with student hostel for about 20 students, Guest House, Free Computer Coaching Centre , Dispensary (Allopathy & Homeopathy), Ambulance Services and installation of Generator set. Besides above, we also proposed to create a permanent fund to intend for upliftment of poor students and downtrodden masses of the nearby localities of surrounding remote villages with a motto “SHIVA JNANE JIVA SEVA“. Therefore, we earnestly appeal to all Noble hearted people, Charitable Trust, Philanthropic Organizations, Companies and others for their kind generous Monetary help for fulfillment the dream ideas as stated above. All Donations are exempted from Income Tax under IT Section 80G.
