Janamukti Anusthan’s 30th Annual General Body Meeting Held.....................................
Today on Date 30.03.2026, the 30th Annual General Meeting of Janamukti Anusthan was successfully held at Kalyan Mandap, Haldi Gram Panchayat presided by its President Sri Baikuntha Banchhor.
Hundreds of male and female members from various villages of Muribahal, Belpada, and Turekela blocks actively participated in the program. The meeting was executed by Sri Bhajaram Sahu, Secretary Janamukti Anusthan Distinguished guests included senior journalist and social worker Dr Bhagaban Mahanti, President of the Press Club Sri Prafulla Kumar Baghar, President of Muribahal Block Journalist Association Sri Durgananda Mahakur, along with management committee members Smt Tebha Sagaria,Sri Kapilas Bhoi,Sri Sanjeeb Kumar Barik, Smt Subarni Bag, and Sri Lalit Rana, who were present on the dais.
As per the agenda of the meeting, the Annual Progress Report for 2025–26 and the Annual Financial Statement were presented. An auditor was appointed for the financial year 2025–26, and the annual plan and budget for 2026–27 were approved. Considering the necessity and the effective performance of the current management committee, it was resolved to extend its tenure for the next five years and allow it to continue its responsibilities.
The guests appreciated the 30-year successful journey of Janamukti Anusthan and commended its work at the grassroots level in areas such as health, education, prevention of migration (dadan), and environmental protection. They especially praised the organization’s efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, including door-to-door awareness campaigns, ensuring full vaccination, and distribution of essential food and relief materials.
The guests also highly appreciated the organization’s effective grassroots-level implementation of programs in the underdeveloped Muribahal region. On this occasion Sri Durgananda Mahakur, Sri Prafulla Kumar Baghar, Smt Subarni Bag, and Sri Kapilas Bhoi were honored with certificates and trophies for their outstanding contributions to social service.Smt Chitralekha Sahu assisted in ex*****on of the meeting while Sri Chandan Meher,Smt Sanjita Hati,Sushree Kiran Jal, and Sri Dharma Sahu extended their support. Staff members of the organization, including Sri Gopal Meher, Sri Bidhu Bag, Sri Jhasketan Bastia,Sri Sushil Sahu, Smt Janaki Bhoi, Smt Kumudini Patra, Sushree Baishnabi Mahakur, Sri Bideshi Budek, Sri Matindra Bag, Sri Chandra Charan Sahu, Sushree Pinki Shikha, Sri Sushil Bag,Sri Chandrakanta Hans, Sri Baishnab Chhatar, Sri Bikramaditya Rana and others were present and actively contributed to making the program successful.
Finally, Prakash Kumar Bandichhor delivered the vote of thanks, and the meeting was concluded by the President.
