Three Sisters. One Dream. A Future Through Education & Standing Beside Dreams Until They Take Flight
Three girls from Salem — Ezhilarasi, Rajalakshmi, and Soundarya — have lost both their mother and father. These children, who no longer have parental support, require assistance to continue their education without interruption.
A request for support was received by Amudha Sivaji Trust, seeking help to ensure that these children could continue their studies without any educational gaps.
Among the three sisters, Ezhilarasi is the eldest, Rajalakshmi is the second child, and Soundarya is the youngest. Soundarya has recently joined the 8th standard. Rajalakshmi completed her 10th and 12th standard education but was unable to join college due to financial constraints. She had to stay at home for nearly a year because her family could not afford the college fees. She has always aspired to pursue a B.Sc. Mathematics degree. Through the support of Amudha Sivaji Trust, we have now facilitated her college admission, and arrangements are being made to support her upcoming educational expenses.
The eldest sister, Ezhilarasi, has been pursuing a B.Com Computer Applications degree at Salem Vinayaka Mission Arts and Science College. She scored an impressive 484 out of 500 marks in her 10th standard examinations and has consistently demonstrated excellent academic performance throughout her college education, securing top grades in every semester. In fact, she has been nominated for a Gold Medal Award based on her academic excellence and is currently awaiting her final semester results.
However, during her final semester, she faced difficulties paying her examination fees and approached us for support. Through Amudha Sivaji Trust, we paid ₹7,200 towards her final semester fees. As a result, she received her hall ticket and successfully completed her examinations. Today, Ezhilarasi has successfully completed her B.Com Computer Applications degree.
One inspiring aspect of their story is their determination and resilience. Both Ezhilarasi and Rajalakshmi work part-time in the evenings, through these part-time jobs, they are taking care of their livelihood.
Their earnings are their family's only source of income. Ezhilarasi earns approximately ₹5,000 per month, and Rajalakshmi earns a similar amount. Despite these limited financial resources, they continue to work hard and pursue their dreams with remarkable determination.
Amudha Sivaji Trust has taken responsibility for their educational expenses, ensuring that they can continue their studies without financial barriers.
My heartfelt gratitude goes to every friend, and well-wisher who has stood with us in this mission. This service and its impact belong to all of you.
Thank you for being part of this journey of hope, education, and transformation.
