Rotary Bangalore Malgudi Diary 2025-26 continued: -

We, the Malgudians, had a fantastic family trip to Jog Falls on 11th & 12th October 2025. Truly wonderful & unforgettable moments to be cherished. All childhood memories relived. It was indeed pleasure to watch all Malgudians, even senior citizens, becoming just like children and having absolutely gala-khushi time. I am sure such joyful moments will certainly enhance the health and happiness amongst all Malgudi family members. Glad to share some of the glimpses. Long live Rotary! Long live Malgudians. 😍

Rotary Bangalore Malgudi Diary 2025-26 continued: -

'Peace Building and Conflict Resolution' is one of the Seven Focus Areas of Rotary International. Supported and participated in the International Joint-Club Project, 'Voices United - Peace as a shared responsibility' on 23rd September 2025 at Francaise de Bangalore.
There were panelists from India, Indonesia , Sri Lanka , Kenya , and Philippines. The Panelists and the Moderator made it all the informative and educative.
The hybrid model with both physical and virtual presence made the Panel Discussion all the more impactful.
Lots of thanks to all the Lead Clubs, Supporting Clubs, Participating Clubs, and the Panelists and the moderator.
I feel such events are essential for sowing the seeds of Peace and Harmony across the world.

Joint-Club Speaker Meet:
Had the opportunity to be part of very informative and educative Speaker Meet on 20th September at Orion Galaxy Club, Bangalore, all thanks to RB West and RB Orion Gateway. Lots of gratitudes to Gp Capt Dr. Vijay Bhat on his inspirational talk on his rich experiences as a Medical Officer in the Indian Air Force. Thanks also to PDG's, other senior Rotarians, and also the Rotaractors who briefed about various impactful projects. 💐 🙏

Wow! What a fantastic evening it was! Malgudian Families got together and had a great time at Vijayanagar Club, Bangalore. Wonderful games and lovely prizes! Nice snacks and delicious food, great friendship and fellowship to be cherished. Looking forward to many more. 🙏 😍

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) Program :
The RYLA Program was conducted on 22nd July 2025 for the students of Next Step Centre for Learning, and Parikrma Foundation for Humanity. An activity based workshop was conducted covering important topics on Communication Skills, Goal Setting, and Time Management. The Training was received well by the students, and appreciated by the staff and the management. All the very best to all the students and staff. 💐 🙏

Charter Day Celebration:
RB Malgudi Club was chartered on 4th July 2015, and has completed 10 years in the service of community and society. This year we celebrated the 11th Charter Day. The Charter President Rtn Rajeshwari MV, and all the Charter Members were felicitated for their loyalty for the Club and also for their continued support in not only running of the Club but also in completing significant service projects. We felicitated all the Past Presidents of our Club for their leadership and dedicated service. Long live Malgudians, and long live Rotary Bangalore Malgudi Club. 🙏 😍

Yet another memorable day for RotaryBangaloreMalgudiClub- The President and all the Office Bearers - the Board of Directors were installed by the District Governor Rtn Prof Elizabeth Cherian m'm on 02nd August, as Team Challengers for the Rotary Year 2025-26 in the gracious presence of District Officers, IPDG Rtn NS Mahadev Prasad Sir, Charter President Rtn Rajeshwari MV, all the Malgudians and their families, and my dear Challenger Co-Presidents at the prestigious Century Club, Bengaluru. . We are highly grateful to DG madam for installing all the Office Bearers of our Club, and also for the encouraging and inspiring words. We are also thankful for felicitating the Rotaractors of Shree Daksha Academy, and the ladies of Malgudi Club for being active volunteers during recently concluded District Award Ceremony for 2024-25. My heartfelt thanks to all Malgudians for their confidence and trust in me to make me the President of the Club consecutively for the second year. First Lady Rtn Suman Hegde and I are totally committed to the cause of Rotary by upholding Rotary International's motto of 'Service above Self.' Our gratitude to all Malgudians and all Rotarians and Rotaractors of Rotary District-3192 for all their support. With lots of thanks and loads of love. Our Club celebrated International Women's Day a day in advance on 07th March, 2025. We Malgudians honoured and recognised the Women Force of the Club for their support and cooperation not only in smooth functioning of the Club but also in the betterment of the community. The highlights of the function was the men honouring respective spouses, and wonderful games organised by our Club Service Director Rtn Purnima. God bless the Women Power, God bless RB Malgudi.🙏

Our Club participated in the Joint Club Celebration of 120 Years of Rotary hosted by Rotary Bangalore Udyog at Rotary Udyog Bhavan alongwith 16 other clubs. The inspirational talk by the Chief Guest PDG Nagendra Prasad was the highlight of the function. All present echoed the spirit of 'Service above Self'.🙏

Our Club Service Director Rtn Purnima, and Vocational Service Director, Rtn Sunil KG, in association with Rotary Clubs of Bangalore Udyog and Jalahalli celebrated Republic Day and Vocational Service Awards Ceremony on 20th December, 2024 at Rotary Udyog Bhavan. along with co-Rotarians, and the students of Dharathri School. RB Malgudi honoured by recognising the yeoman service rendered by Ex Service Men, Doctors, Engineers, and Teachers. 🙏
