The Lantana removal videos for Small, Medium and Large bushes have been edited and updated with a Timer and explanatory slides. JUNGLESCAPES' NEW COLLABORATION IN BRT TIGER RESERVE
Junglescapes has catalysed a new Lantana management project in BRT Tiger Reserve in collaboration with Swami Vivekanada Seva Trust (SVST), a NGO which is based in BRT. The initial project site is of 150 acres and has medium-density Lantana. Junglescapes is the knowledge partner for the project and has also helped the project partner raise funding. SVST is the implementation partner and works with the local communities and the forest department.
The project involves removal of Lantana and secondary invasives, and restoration activities for 4-5 years.
This is in line with Junglescapes' strategy of partnering with like-minded partners in various geographies to catalyse new projects for the management of invasive species. We plan to catalyse more such projects in the near future.
