With the dawn of every new dynasty, a different set of infl
uences ruled this mammoth land, with its stimulating topography and heterogeneous people, creating a fusion with some of the greatest cultures the world has ever witnessed. An identity that has been passed down from generation to generation...
... and eventually died out in favour of a new and rather quixotic third dimension that now defines the urban fabric in all our towns and cities. The majesty and precision our fore fathers achieved in their practice of the arts has been stamped out and swept away, eclipsed by an insipid blanket of pseudo globalization. Stuck in our ivory-towers, oblivious to the brilliance of our past, we’re caught in a tempest that has us replicating styles and ideas that have taken over the world – creating a single identity for a people so obviously diverse. No way to create a palimpsest of our modern pride and traditional glory? In an attempt to address this pressing issue of our conflicting ethnic identities, we present to you ~
