Discription:
The Metalhead Engineers Imphal is a non-profit, anti-narcotic music society. The society mainly comprises of engineering students including students from other graduating streams. The society is an independent body with no privity whatsoever with any government or other organisations. Noticing in the environment of decieving the true meaning of music by drug, where assuming that the one who plays guitar or drum is addicted to narcotic drugs, in such expectations from the seniors in the environment, the Metalhead Engineers Imphal are showing them the true identity of metal music without narcotic drugs and help support the young local bands who needs a leading hand, giving them the privilege to perform on the stage with true meaning of music without narcotic drugs accompanied by good education. Conducting a concert every winter known as "METAL RETRIEVATION". Above that improvising the re****ed state of our environment to an upgraded are their main emphasis. METAL RETRIEVATION
Unfolding the history of rock and roll stages of generation reminds the very existence. In olden days youths and teenagers were adored by the newly established music of rock and roll and the way of aggressiveness in the song. As the new generation of music differences were known from the other genres of music. As the generation revolutionises new dressing codes of loose main shirts with tight dresses of black or leather including long hair styles were popularized. The popularity goes on and on with increase in fans and the number of bands. Some of them finds a way not to exhaust while performing or touring or may have persuade to flow themselves with the music and hence led them to create the most harassing part in the history of rock and roll, the narcotic drugs. Here in manipur, in then days may be due to the uneducated thoughts or following as a passion, there were times that rockers used drugs as a diet supplements and led them to bestow the deadly disease HIV AIDS. Late 1970's and 80's were the time that people had no idea about the virus and hence used by masses and persuade them to meet their own life to an end. Youths died due to this deadly virus and overdoses of drugs and therefore the popularity of rock and roll were drastically decreased and in turn hatred from societies and families were increased. The false image on the very skin of rock and roll remains till today. As a proof elders in the society percieve youths who plays guitars or drums as a characterless and an addiction of narcotic drugs. Therefore, the conclusions of our organization aims and perspective can be recalesce. That we the "METALHEAD ENGINNERS IMPHAL" are trying hard with soulsout to recuperate the true meaning of metal music without any false sense or any decieving attached by any means from narcotic drugs or behaviourless. Retrieving the metal from its lost state with the help of education with us and hence known our concert as "METAL RETRIEVATION".
