Team Arcis is Official team of Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering which participates in International Aero Design competitions. We participate in International Aero Design Events of SAE Aero Design West and AIAA DBF. The Team represented the University and our country for the first time in SAE Aero Design West 2013 at Van Nuys, California. It placed 24th in Regular Class and we won the NASA Systems Engineering Award in our very first year. Since 2014, we have been an ardent participant in various categories and have won many accolades. In 2015, Team Arcis ascended the position of being India’s No. 1 Aero Design Team, a position we hold till date. 2018-19 was our milestone year, where we participated in all the 3 categories of SAE and won a total of 4 medals. 2019-20 was our first attempt at AIAA DBF event. We take pride in announcing that the team finished 1st in India for the DBF event of 2020. Also, despite the uncertain circumstances of pandemic, we participated in the virtual event of SAE in July 2020 and won 2 3rd place finishes in Micro Class. In 2021, the Team is currently taking part in the AIAA DBF 2021 & SAE Aero Design Knowledge Event - Micro Class.
