DARE TO DREAM

Volume 6 | Issue 7 | July 2026

June was about expanding our reach. July was about strengthening what makes that reach meaningful—through inclusive hiring, long-term employer engagement, stronger partnerships, and stronger governance.

💼 A placement opportunity with a global HR and payroll solutions provider became much more than an interview. One candidate was selected, and the conversation also opened future opportunities for Deaf candidates, along with a new role for future recruitment.

🎓 Training continued across multiple domains, with candidates building skills in accessibility testing, document remediation, English communication, and MS Excel. Our BFSI batch concluded with 11 graduates, four of whom have already secured employment.

🤝 Employer and partnership networks continued to grow. New collaborations with corporate leaders, disability-focused nonprofits, and educational institutions expanded opportunities for inclusive hiring and skilling.

🌱 Support doesn't end with an offer letter. Follow-up conversations with candidates placed at a global energy management and automation leader highlighted the importance of ongoing employer engagement and workplace support, ensuring inclusion continues beyond recruitment.

🏛️ Governance moved from compliance to leadership. Our Founder, Trustees, and Compliance & Finance Manager completed Module Two of the Niranthara Governance Programme, strengthening Board practices, accountability, and the systems that will support our long-term mission.

Every interview, every partnership, every follow-up conversation, and every governance milestone contributes to the same goal: creating sustainable livelihoods for persons with disabilities.

WinVinaya Foundation | International Day of Friendship | 30th July 2026

Friendship builds bridges where differences once stood.

This International Day of Friendship, we’re celebrating the power of inclusive friendships. True inclusion doesn’t begin with policies — it is built on compassion and genuine open-mindedness.

When we approach relationships with empathy, we break down assumptions about who people are and what they can achieve. We stop viewing disability through a narrow lens and start seeing the individual — listening, understanding unique perspectives, and standing up as active allies for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in our workplaces and beyond.

At WinVinaya Foundation, we believe an inclusive workforce is built on mutual respect, compassion and consideration — one that turns colleagues into allies and friends, and unlocks a culture where everyone belongs.

Let’s commit to being the kind of friends who actively build a more accessible, equitable and empathetic world. Together we grow stronger — inclusion begins with friendship.

WinVinaya Foundation | Guru Purnima | 29th July 2026

“A mentor is not someone who walks ahead of you, but someone who shows you the path and walks beside you.”

Today, as we celebrate Guru Purnima, we extend our deepest gratitude to the teachers, mentors and trainers who illuminate the path of learning and growth. Across the world, teachers embody patience, wisdom and dedication — qualities that quietly shape lives and futures.

At WinVinaya Foundation, our trainers and mentors live these qualities every day. Training persons with disabilities calls for more than technical expertise – it calls for heartfelt empathy, unwavering patience and a profound belief in equal potential. Our trainers shape futures by nurturing confidence, imparting technical and professional skills, and instilling the belief that every individual has the right to thrive.

Their role is not just instructional – it is transformational. To the trainers at WinVinaya, and to extraordinary educators everywhere: thank you. You see ability where others see limitations, and you build the bridges that connect talent to opportunity.

🙏 How are you honouring your mentors today? Tag a teacher or mentor who changed your life, and share your gratitude below.

Empowering a Greener, More Inclusive Future 🌍

“Diversity is the Root of Sustainability.”

This World Nature Conservation Day, WinVinaya Foundation reaffirms its commitment to protecting our planet. True conservation requires the collective effort of every individual — and our mission ensures that no one is left behind on the journey toward a sustainable future.

Nature itself teaches the lesson: just as a thriving ecosystem depends on biodiversity, a resilient society depends on human diversity. By equipping Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), women and marginalised communities with specialised professional skills, we are nurturing a diverse workforce ready to contribute to a more sustainable, eco-friendly future.

Protecting our planet is a shared responsibility that needs everyone’s voice and talent. Let’s act today — plant a tree, reduce plastic, support renewable energy, and advocate for inclusive sustainability. Small actions, when multiplied, create lasting impact.

🌱 How is your organisation weaving sustainability — and inclusion — into its core values? We’d love to hear.

WinVinaya Foundation | Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial Day | 27th July 2026

“The ignited mind of the youth is the most powerful resource on the earth, above the earth and under the earth.” — Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Turning Points

The people's president believed that science and technology exist to serve humanity—every part of it. At WinVinaya Foundation, we believe sustained nation-building lies at the intersection of technology, empathy and inclusion. True empowerment of the next generation must include the upliftment of persons with disabilities through innovation in assistive technology.

From screen readers to tactile learning tools, assistive technology is quietly igniting minds that the world once overlooked. Honouring Dr. Kalam means ensuring technology leaves no one behind—because true innovation empowers everyone.

WinVinaya Foundation | Kargil Vijay Diwas | 26th July 2026

Kargil Vijay Diwas marks the 27th anniversary of India’s victory in the 1999 Kargil War. It honours the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of the soldiers who safeguarded our nation — and continues to inspire generations to uphold resilience, unity and service.

Courage does not end on the battlefield. Many of our bravest continue to show it every day — including veterans with disabilities who rebuild their lives with the same resolve with which they served. Their journeys remind us that ability is defined by spirit, not circumstance.

At WinVinaya Foundation, we carry that spirit forward — working every day to build a nation where every individual’s contribution, regardless of ability, is recognised and valued.

“Courage Beyond the Battlefield — True Victory is Inclusion".

True victory lies in building an inclusive India. Jai Hind. 🇮🇳

WinVinaya Foundation | International Self-Care Day | 24th July 2026

International Self-Care Day 2026 recognises the vital role of self-care in advancing health. This year’s theme – "Self-Care puts your health in your hands: Test. Track. Thrive." – is a call for agency, awareness and proactiveness.

At WinVinaya Foundation, we see self-care as broader than physical health alone. It includes dignity, independence and empowerment – the confidence to take charge of one’s own future. Our programmes in technical skills, financial literacy and professional communication help persons with disabilities live this broader vision of self-care:

✅ Test their existing skills and adapt to real-world challenges.
📈 Track their professional growth and financial independence.
🌟 Thrive in their personal and professional lives.

This Self-Care Day, let’s transform self-care from a passive activity into a powerful tool for taking control of our personal and professional lives – and commit to building a world where care, compassion and empowerment go hand in hand.

🌱 Candidates: investing in your skills is one of the deepest forms of self-care. Reach out to us to begin.

💼 Corporates: a caring workplace is an inclusive workplace. Let’s build one together.

WinVinaya Foundation | National Flag Adoption Day | 22nd July 2026

On 22nd July 1947, the Indian National Flag was adopted by the Constituent Assembly.

The Tiranga carries deep symbolism: saffron for courage, strength and sacrifice; white for peace, harmony, purity and truth; green for fertility, growth and the auspiciousness of our land. At its centre, the Ashoka Chakra’s twenty-four spokes remind us that progress comes through continuous effort and adaptability.

Here is our reflection: no single colour makes the Tiranga. Its beauty and meaning come from distinct colours standing together as one. In the same way, a truly strong workforce — and a truly strong nation — is woven from individuals of diverse abilities, each contributing their own strength.

Today, let’s recommit to the ideals of our National Flag — courage, harmony, growth and continued progress — by building workplaces where every ability belongs.

💼 Corporates & HR leaders: this is a beautiful day to begin your inclusive hiring journey. We’re ready when you are.

United under the Tiranga, strengthened by diversity. 🇮🇳

Building Skills. Creating Opportunities.

Every career journey begins with the right guidance. On 17 July 2026, WinVinaya Foundation, in collaboration with Dell Technologies, conducted an orientation session for candidates with hearing and speech impairment aspiring to build careers in IT Infrastructure.

The session was led by Martin Prakash from the Talent Acquisition team at Dell Technologies, who provided valuable insights into the Apprentice Manufacturing role that supports IT infrastructure operations. Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of the role, including hardware assembly, software testing, quality checks, eligibility criteria, and the day-to-day responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.

Beyond introducing the role, the session empowered participants with the knowledge and confidence to take the next step in their career journey. It also reflected the shared commitment of WinVinaya Foundation and Dell Technologies to fostering inclusive workplaces where talent is recognized, nurtured, and provided with equal opportunities to succeed.

Together, we are creating pathways to inclusive employment by empowering talent with the skills, confidence, and opportunities to build meaningful careers.
