Belakoo Trust | Campus Update

Our students explored the importance of recycling and reusing through a fun and hands-on learning session.

With 25 students participating, the session focused on understanding how everyday materials can be given a new purpose instead of being thrown away.

The students had lots of fun learning how pooja waste and used flowers can be reused to make dhoop cones at home. The activity encouraged them to think creatively about waste and discover simple ways to make more sustainable choices in their daily lives.

Through activities like these, Belakoo Trust continues to make learning practical, engaging, and connected to the world around us.

Belakoo Trust | Hebbal Campus Update

Belakoo Sports Day – Hebbal Campus 🏃‍♀️🏅

Our Hebbal campus came alive with excitement as students participated in a fun-filled Sports Day, celebrating teamwork, determination, and the joy of staying active.

Every child took part with great enthusiasm and displayed wonderful sporting spirit while participating in a variety of games, including:

🏃 Running Race
📚 Book Balancing
🏏 Ball & Stick Balancing
🎯 Hitting the Wicket
🪣 Ball in the Bucket
💪 Hanging on the Railing

Beyond the games, the day encouraged confidence, coordination, perseverance, and teamwork. It was wonderful to see every child cheering one another on and enjoying every moment of the activities.

A heartfelt thank you to Krishna and Asha Ma'am for their support and enthusiasm in making this Sports Day a memorable and successful event for our students.

At Belakoo Trust, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. Through activities like these, we help children build confidence, resilience, and healthy habits while creating joyful memories.

Belakoo Trust | RMV Campus Update

Saturday's session at our RMV Campus took our students on an exciting journey around the world as they explored the **continents and major water bodies of the Earth**.

Through interactive discussions and hands-on learning with a globe, our students identified the seven continents, the five oceans, and understood how land masses and water bodies connect across the globe. The activities encouraged curiosity, participation, and made geography an engaging learning experience.

By combining visual learning with classroom discussions, the session helped students strengthen their understanding of the world while building confidence and curiosity to explore beyond textbooks.

At Belakoo Trust, every lesson is designed to make learning interactive, meaningful, and enjoyable helping children develop knowledge, confidence, and a lifelong love for learning.

Belakoo Trust North Bangalore RMV Campus Update

January 25 2026

Skills 22 and 23 of our 100 skills program: Yoga and Pranayama.

A late post, but an important one.

On the occassion of Ratha Sapthami - marking of the end of winter and change of season to Spring, and celebration of the Sun God, we conducted a yoga and pranayama session for our students.

We started the session with some uber fun body movement and stretching exercises that had the children in peals of laughter. They then learned the Surya Namaskara - some carefully copying Shridevi Mahadevan, some enthusiastically inventing their own versions, but for all, an important reminder of movement, energy, and renewal of effort.

And then, we sat together to notice something many of us had never paid attention to before: their own breath. With exams around the corner, our children carry a lot - expectations, nervous energy, and the quiet pressure to do well. We learned mindful breathing, grounding and control of focus and attention with some breathwork and pranayama time.

A heartfelt thank you to Shridevi Mahadevan from Navarasa for holding the space so gently and showing them that calm is also something you can practise, alongside fun and laughter.
