This Women’s Day, we celebrated the incredible women who keep Bengaluru clean and running every day. 🌸

With the support of volunteers, we prepared special appreciation kits containing hand-decorated eco-friendly mud water bottles, handwritten gratitude cards, energy bars, and dry fruits — a small gesture to thank the women who work tirelessly to keep our city clean.

Sometimes the best celebrations are simply about recognizing the silent heroes around us.
Thank you to everyone who made this initiative meaningful. 💙

Families clean homes, draw rangoli, and prepare special dishes like Ellu Bella (sesame–jaggery mix), Sihi Huggi, Holige, and Avarekalu palya. The famous “Ellu Bella thindu, olle mathaadi” tradition promotes goodwill and sweet speech.

Kite flying fills the skies, especially in Bengaluru, while rural areas celebrate with cattle processions like Kichchu Haisodu and temple events like the Gavi Gangadhareshwara sun alignment.
