Our second speaker Deepak Pareek, a social media influencer and a YouTube content creator, busted the various myths that prevail in today’s Indian society and encouraged a change in our outlook. He put forth how preconceived notions serve as the basis of the decisions we make and on failing to achieve something we turn towards myths, beliefs and stereotypes. In order to free our society from such stereotypes, there is a need for us to change our mindset that acts as a barrier to liberal thinking in the 21st century.

A ship’s captain turned investment banker turned leadership coach and a painter.
He has fought a major fire on a ship, conducted rescue operations at sea, encountered sea-pirates and he has also dealt with major storms in the ocean. But he isn't a pirate or a sailor. At least not at the moment. With 24 years of experience in across investment banking & Financial Services and International Shipping & Logistics Industries, Harsh Johari’s career journey has been highly unconventional, to say the least. While his peers went to pursue medical or engineering as a career, Mr.Johari decided to join the Merchant Navy. Started with being a deck cadet at Anglo-Eastern Ship Management, Hong Kong, he took command and became Captain of Merchant Ships. 15 years in sailing, at the peak of his career, Mr. Johari decided to quit and go back to college to obtain his management education. He worked as the Vice-President in Operations in Goldman Sachs post his MBA. After working for them for 9 years, at the peak of his career, he decided to quit as an investment banker and started working as an Executive & Leadership Coach and Trainer. He is now a certified Intelligence Leadership Coach, trained directly by the former coach of Steve Jobs and the world's leading executive coach, Mr. John Mattone. Harsh is also a certified Happiness Coach and helps clients develop personal happiness blueprints and reinvent their lives. During his shipping career, Mr.Johari has been an advanced fire-fighter, a medical practitioner and an expert in survival and rescue.

Vibish Kashyap is an 18 year old, pursuing Electronics and Communication Engineering at SSN College. Driven by empathy and responsibility, Vibish strongly believes that the youth can make a difference with a little hard work and cooperation.
Being associated with ReapBenefit, he extensively worked in issues concerning water scarcity and sanitation problems. At the age of 13, he became the ambassador for the HUL’s Project Sunlight, which aimed at bringing about clean sanitary practices throughout India, for expressing his views on sanitation issues and his work for water saving.
He, along with ReapBenefit and some of his juniors at TVSA Hosur, assessed the problems in sanitation deprived government schools in and around Hosur. He primarily focused on implementing waterless urinals- a sustainable prototype built by re-using materials serving the dual purpose of sanitation and saving gallons of water. Project Hosur sanitation is a success story in 15+ schools with around 300 waterless urinals across Hosur; bringing about happy smiles among students of the government schools.

Keerthana Shroff, the excited one. Prachi Shah, the just as equally excited but still not so much. Meet our Event Managers.
While one puts in the required effort to get the desired results, the other envisions ideas and brings them to life. They’re both head strong and achieve the results they want. Procrastinating through out, they still manage to have a little fun, learn a little and make sure that the event is as wonderful, organised and set to the ambience as they had hoped.
