Creating impact with clean power

The Anamprem Satyamev Jayate Gram Project in Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra is a safe residential space for nearly 150 persons with disabilities.

Supported by Infosys Foundation and implemented by the Pune DC CSR Team, a 20 kV solar grid system was installed in December 2025. Since then, the campus generates clean and reliable power every day. This has reduced electricity costs and freed up resources that can be directed towards care, education, and overall development.

This simple shift makes a meaningful difference; proof that sustainable choices support both people and planet.

Creating access to quality healthcare, where it matters most. In FY25, Infosys Foundation’s healthcare initiatives reached 28,61,930 people across India through 200+ projects, from strengthening maternal and newborn care, equipping hospitals with critical infrastructure, enabling eye care, digital health access, to advancing menstrual health awareness. Each initiative is guided by a simple purpose, to make state-of-the-art healthcare infrastructure more reachable, inclusive, and to improve the quality of life. This , we remain committed to improving access, one program, one community, one life at a time.

Inclusive education requires tools that go beyond access to enable true learning. Hexis and Iris is India’s only integrated learning ecosystem for visually impaired students, combining a refreshable Braille display, tactile diagram explorer, and a teacher content platform to support advanced reading and STEM education.

Hexis and Iris won in the Jury's Special Awards category at the recently held Aarohan Social Innovation Awards 2025 and received an award of ₹10 lakh. The team will now receive mentorship and incubation support to help deepen impact and reach more classrooms.

Supporting learning through collective effort.

Over the past month, more than 350 volunteers from Infosys Pune DC came together to create impactful learning materials — assembling 80 science kits, designing 5 educational Jenga sets, and hand painting 584 fabric bags. These resources were distributed to over 900 students, supporting and enriching their learning experiences.

Led by the Pune DC CSR team, Sparsh – A Healing Touch, these efforts culminated on 14th March 2026.
In collaboration with Seva Sahayog and supported by Infosys Foundation, the distribution drive reached Z P School, Bodkewadi, Z P School, Maan, and New English School, Maan.

Each contribution reflects a shared commitment to enabling access to learning.

Preventable vision loss remains one of the most overlooked health challenges in rural India.

In remote communities, dust from fields, smoke from wood burning stoves, and delayed diagnosis mean eye conditions often go untreated until it’s too late.

Infosys Foundation, in partnership with Vivekananda Netralaya (Ramakrishna Mission), is working to change this in the Garhwal Himalayas. A new OPD clinic inaugurated in December 2024, advanced diagnostic equipment for early detection of cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal disease, and regular outreach camps in villages and schools are helping reach patients sooner. With nearly 15,000 eye surgeries conducted each year, this expansion enables even greater access to timely care.

At the same time, our collaboration with LV Prasad Eye Institute has scaled tech-enabled care—through the SightConnect app, over 1,75,000 patients accessed eye care from home in just one year.

Because when the right tools reach the right places, sight can be saved.

This Blindness Prevention Week, we reaffirm our commitment to building accessible, equitable pathways to vision care for every community, no matter how far.
