Established in 2001-02, KIT is a 100% volunteer run Charitable Trust to financially support community members on Education, Medical Treatment, Sustenance to Elderly Destitute persons. KIT is a Zero Expenditure Organisation – No expense re-imbursements of any kind will be provided to the Volunteers or to run the office.. KIT is run 100% by Volunteers spread across the world
EVERY request for suppo
rt received by KIT is factually assessed by an independent KIT Volunteer, after making personal visit(s) to the intended beneficiary’s family, without compromising the time essence of the need for support. KIT makes a decision to support (or not) every case based on the Field Visit Report provided by the Volunteers and any additional inputs from other credible individuals who can vouch for the beneficiary. Nobody will be forced to donate nor there is any sort of membership to be part of KIT. Donors to KIT can claim Income Tax exemption in India, under Section 80G. Details of all cases successfully supported by KIT will be published in Pattars and associated yahoogroups and other relevant social networking groups such as Facebook.
