This Independence Day, we had another very special reason to celebrate at NAB Karnataka - the Mobility Graduation of 20 of our students!

A huge congratulations to each of our graduates. ❤️
Mobility training is a journey of learning, confidence, perseverance, and independence. Every step learned is a step towards greater freedom - the confidence to navigate the world, explore new possibilities, and live life with greater independence and dignity.
Watching our students reach this milestone is incredibly special, and we are so proud of each one of them. 👏

A big thank you to our instructors, staff, families, and everyone who supports our students throughout their journey.
To our 20 graduates - this is not just a graduation; it is a new beginning. 🌟

A Year of Gratitude

Last year around this time, we reached out to our well-wishers, supporters, and friends seeking your help to renew NABK’s leased agreement with the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), amounting to ₹2 crores.

With the incredible support and generosity of each one of you, we were able to achieve this milestone and make the payment to BDA, formalising NABK’s lease agreement until 2046.

This would not have been possible without your trust, encouragement, and support. Every contribution, every gesture of goodwill, and every word of encouragement made a difference.

As we look back on this journey, NABK continues to remain deeply grateful to each one of you who stood by us when we needed you most.

We are proud to share that Ms. Yogitha A R, Outreach Executive at NAB Karnataka, had the opportunity to participate in the launch of the Sarvam AI Smart Glasses.

As a person with visual impairment, her participation reflects the importance of involving end users in the development and promotion of accessible technology.

The Sarvam AI Smart Glasses demonstrate how artificial intelligence can empower persons with visual impairments by enhancing independence, accessibility, and confidence in everyday life.

Creating Opportunities. Building Inclusive Careers.

On 10th July, NAB Karnataka, in collaboration with AssistTech Foundation through the Adidvara platform, successfully hosted Adidvara Job Habba from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

The event connected skilled persons with disabilities with inclusive employers, creating meaningful employment opportunities.
Event Highlights:

✔️ 137 Candidates Attended
✔️ 100 Candidates Shortlisted

Candidates had the opportunity to interact directly with employers and participate in interviews across multiple job roles. We are also proud that trainees from our own NAB Karnataka training batches confidently participated in the interview process, showcasing their skills and readiness for employment.

🌱 A Step Towards a Greener Future! 🌱

NAB Karnataka is delighted to have participated in the Green Bengaluru Sapling Plantation Drive organised by the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA).

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to BDA for inviting NAB Karnataka to be a part of this meaningful initiative. Such opportunities inspire our students and staff to actively contribute to environmental conservation and community development.
A special thanks to our CEO, Mr. Rajesh, for making this participation possible and encouraging us to be a part of this wonderful cause. His continuous support enables our students to gain valuable experiences beyond the classroom.

Our students enthusiastically participated in planting saplings and truly enjoyed every moment of the activity. More than just planting trees, the event helped them understand the importance of protecting the environment, caring for nature, and taking responsibility for building a greener and more sustainable future. It was a joyful and enriching experience that encouraged teamwork, environmental awareness, and a sense of social responsibility.

Bridging the gap between training and employment requires more than classroom learning—it requires real-world exposure.

On 16 June 2026, students from the ITI and Warehouse Packers (WHP) course at Mysore ITCB participated in an industrial visit to the Yadavagiri Industrial Area, Mysuru. The visit included Southern State Electricals, Vinayaka Wire and Wire Fittings Works, Ali Interior Furnitures, Compact Industries, Rajeshwari Metal Rolling Mill, and a Paper Cups Factory.

The students had the opportunity to observe manufacturing processes, workplace practices, production activities, and industry standards firsthand. For many, this was their first experience visiting an industrial workplace, making the visit both exciting and inspiring.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the industries that welcomed our students and generously shared their time, knowledge, and encouragement. Such collaborations play a crucial role in preparing persons with disabilities for meaningful employment and greater independence.
