Why to drink only A2 Type Milk (Deshi Cow Milk)

If you are a health conscious consumer, you would have heard of, how A2 milk from hu**ed cattle like Gir, Ongole, Sahilwal all Indian breed cow’s milk.

A2 Milk is the milk that contains only the A2 type of beta-casein protein, whereas A1 Milk contains only A1 beta-casein or A1-A2 type variant. A1 protein variant is commonly found in milk from crossbred and European breeds of cattle. A2 milk is found basically in indigenous cows of India (Asia as a whole). Today, the majority of the cows in USA/Europe/India carry the A1 gene.

A2 milk is cow's milk that mostly lacks a form of β-casein proteins called A1 and instead has mostly the A2 form.[1] Milk like this was brought to market by The a2 Milk Company and is sold mostly in Australia, New Zealand, China, United States and the United Kingdom.

The a2 Milk Company claims that milk containing A1 proteins is harmful, but a 2009 European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) review found that there was insufficient evidence to prove that bioactive peptides in A1 milk have a negative effect on health.
