Zero Project Conference India hosted by Youth4Jobs, will focus on building bridges between global networks and innovations, with conversations around Assistive Technology, inclusive employment, women with disabilities, grassroots leadership, Global South collaboration, digital accessibility and AI.

Through our partnership between Allegis Group India and RampMyCity, we have transformed 300+ public places across 5 cities into accessible, disabled-friendly spaces, positively impacting 2 lakh+ lives.

Together, we have created inclusive infrastructure including wheelchair access ramps, accessible toilets, inclusive swings, accessible furniture, wheelchairs, Braille signages, and tactile maps across schools, hospitals, public parks, police stations, tourist destinations, restaurants, and other public spaces.

These interventions have improved access, dignity, and independence for Persons with Disabilities, senior citizens, pregnant women, and people with reduced mobility, enabling greater participation and equal opportunities in everyday life.

This journey has been made possible by the unwavering support and shared vision of Devika Nair and Agomoni Bose from Allegis Group India, who truly believe in building an India where no one is left behind.

We are building a Purple India. 💜

In the partnership with Allegis Group, we have transformed more than 300 public places into disabled friendly locations across 5 cities which has positively impacted 2 lakh+ lives.

Our aim is to ensure that Persons with Reduced Mobilities, Senior Citizens, Pregnant Women and People with temporary injuries have the independence and quality of life at par with any able bodied citizen of India.

We are building a Purple India where all its people have equal access and equal opportunities 💜

Building a “Purple” Delhi : Wheelchair-friendly ramps were installed across 21 Primary Schools in Delhi to help create a barrier free environment for Children with Special Needs. The initiative has also improved accessibility for Teachers with Disabilities who earlier faced challenges in accessing school premises.

Across India, many Children with Disabilities either never get the opportunity to attend school or are forced to drop out because of inaccessible infrastructure and the lack of basic mobility access within campuses like ramps, toilets, play area and accessible furniture. These hurdles become a lifelong barrier to education, independence and dignity. Through these interventions, RampMyCity is working towards changing that reality, one school at a time.

Inclusive education forms the foundation of a society free from mental barriers towards Persons with Disabilities. When children grow up learning alongside individuals with disabilities from an early age, they naturally develop empathy, understanding and become stronger allies for inclusion.
