From the Warden’s Desk: A Tapestry of Growth

The past month has been a beautiful tapestry of intellectual and spiritual awakening. With the
culmination of our Vijñāna Vardhini sessions, we placed a vital emphasis not just on academic
brilliance, but on the holistic mental and emotional well-being of our young minds. We also
joyously welcomed our new batch of 1st PU students. We celebrated Phalaharini Kali Pooja with
soul-stirring bhajans; we were reminded to surrender everything at the lotus feet of the Divine
Mother. May She grant our new and returning students the clarity and strength to walk the path
of Śraddhā and success.

On 4 June 2026, Sri Ramakrishna Vidyarthi Mandiram had the privilege of hosting our esteemed alumnus, Lt. Commander Mohan, for an enriching and inspiring interaction on the Indian Armed Forces. Drawing from his vast experience, he offered students a comprehensive overview of the three pillars of national defence—the Army, Navy, and Air Force—highlighting their current capabilities, technological advancements, strategic strengths, and future prospects in an evolving global landscape.

Beyond presenting the operational and technical dimensions of the defence services, Lt. Commander Mohan passionately encouraged students to consider a career in the armed forces as a path of service, leadership, and nation-building. He carefully explained the various entry pathways available to aspiring candidates, providing valuable guidance on how students can prepare themselves for this noble profession. The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer interaction, where students had the opportunity to clarify their doubts and gain deeper insights into life in the defence services.

The interaction left the students informed, inspired, and motivated to dream bigger, serve selflessly, and contribute meaningfully to the nation.
