On International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Fourth Wave Foundation celebrated inclusion, creativity, and the unique abilities of every child. Schools and communities engaged in meaningful activities that highlighted the importance of early intervention, family support, and inclusive learning, while an online orientation brought together stakeholders to explore the latest global and national developments in the disability sector. Strengthening shared understanding and shaping the way forward for more inclusive practices.

Celebrating Success!

Fourth Wave Foundation is delighted to share that one of our team member, Anjaly Baby has been awarded a Gold Medal for securing first rank in Masters in Social Work from Central University of Tamil Nadu, and had the honor of receiving it from the Hon’ble President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu during the Convocation Ceremony at the Central University of Tamil Nadu.

This achievement is not only a personal milestone for her but also a proud moment for all of us. Her passion and excellence inspire our team to aim higher, push boundaries, and embrace a culture of continuous growth and success.

The occasion was graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu, Shri R. N. Ravi; Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, Shri K. Kailashnathan; Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare and Women Empowerment of Tamil Nadu, Smt. P. Geetha Jeevan; Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education of Tamil Nadu, Shri Govi. Chezhian; Chancellor, Shri G. Padmanabhan; and Vice-Chancellor, Prof. M. Krishnan, along with other distinguished dignitaries on the dais.

As we enter the 78th year of Independence, we honour the sacrifices and resilience of those who paved the way for our freedom. This day is not only a celebration of the past, but also a call to build a brighter, more inclusive future.

At Fourth Wave Foundation, we pledge to stand with and safeguard the nation’s youth and children by ensuring they have the opportunity to learn, lead, and thrive. In doing so, we strengthen the foundation of our country and keep the spirit of freedom alive for generations to come.

We’re proud to share that Fourth Wave Foundation has been awarded the Inclusive Education Award by Ashraya Hastha Trust (AHT) in recognition of our pioneering and continued efforts to enable inclusive learning spaces for children with disabilities in India.
Our Director, Diana Vincent, received the award from Mrs. Asha Dinesh, Trustee, AHT. We thank Dr. K. Dinesh, Managing Trustee, Mrs. Asha Dinesh, and the entire team at AHT for this recognition. It strengthens our resolve to continue building schools where all children belong.
AHT supports over 130 projects across India, and six projects, including Schools Where All Belong, were recognised this year during the 25th Anniversary celebration of Ashraya Hastha Trust.
