Celebrating tomorrow’s torchbearers, today.

Every young child carries a dream. Every dream holds the possibility of a better tomorrow.

From classrooms to playgrounds, India’s children are learning, growing and imagining the future they want to build in their youth. And every single one of them deserves the nourishment, education and opportunity to pursue that future.

This International Youth Day, let’s celebrate these young minds who will shape our tomorrow.

Today, our Jaipur kitchen hosted the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma Ji, and his team. His visit served as a moment of inspiration for every hand that goes into feeding a child.

He was given a tour of the kitchen, where he watched our operations and scale up close, as well as the quiet dedication of our team.

His appreciation was a reminder of why our work matters and why we need to work together so that no child has to choose between food and education.

We are grateful to him for taking time out of his busy schedule to witness this promise in action.

Gunashree still remembers eagerly waiting for her favourite rasam-rice served as part of Akshaya Patra's Mid-Day Meal Programme. Those nourishing meals kept her energised, focussed and ready to learn, helping her make the most of every opportunity that came her way.

Raised in Karnataka, Gunashree dreamt of creating meaningful solutions from an early age. Inspired by her father's farming background, she developed a school project on drip irrigation that went on to receive national recognition and helped her school establish an Atal Tinkering Lab. Encouraged by her family, teachers and mentors, she continued believing in her potential.

With determination and hard work, she pursued her aspirations and today has built a successful career at Accenture in Bengaluru. She believes every step of her journey was shaped by the people who believed in her and the opportunities that allowed her to dream bigger.

We are incredibly proud of Gunashree's achievements and privileged to have supported her educational journey, one nourishing meal at a time.

As floods continue to impact communities across Jorhat and the surrounding districts of Assam, we are providing food relief in the region by serving freshly cooked meals from our centralised kitchen in Jorhat. Since 23 July, our teams have been working alongside the district administration every day to ensure flood-affected families receive warm, nutritious meals with dignity and care.

We are serving an average of 3,000 meals daily in Rajabari, Jagduwar, Amguri, Namti Patha, Panigaon–Mariani Road, Namchungi and Selenghat. Each meal includes rice or khichdi, dalma or sabji, pickle and a bottle of drinking water, offering not just nourishment but also comfort during an incredibly difficult time.

Every contribution helps us serve more freshly cooked meals to flood-affected families. Together, we can continue to reach more families, serve more meals and bring hope.
