Real change does not happen through one-time interventions. It happens when support continues through every stage of a child’s journey. 🌱

From strengthening government schools to supporting higher education, scholarships, mentorship, and career guidance, Seniors for Change believes in walking alongside every child, every step of the way.

What makes this work even more meaningful is the people behind it. Professionals from corporate and academic backgrounds coming together, not from boardrooms, but on the ground, working directly with communities to create impact that lasts.

In conversation with Dr. Meenakshi Shivram on building change that is connected, compassionate, and sustainable. ✨

✨ Meet Ruhi - a commerce student with big dreams and an even bigger journey ahead.

From not knowing opportunities like this existed to confidently working towards a future in Business & Finance, Ruhi’s story is a reminder of what the right support can do.
Through mentorship, skill-building, and a community that believes in her, she has grown in confidence, communication, and mindset. And this is just the beginning.

“Getting selected was a turning point in my journey.”

Behind every dream is someone who believed first.
Be that someone.

📊 Numbers tell stories too.
4,000 children. 6,000+ scholarships. 11 schools and colleges. 23 years of showing up.

Behind every number is a child who stayed in school, a family that dared to dream a little bigger, and a community slowly breaking free from the cycle of poverty.

This is what empowering through education looks like, one scholar at a time.

Clement’s father works as a security guard. His mother is a homemaker. When she needed surgery during his final year of college, Clement was ready to give up on his degree.

But his principal and class teacher didn’t give up on him. They reached out to Prof. Meenakshi Srinivasan, who heads our Merit Scholarship Program, explained the situation, and together they made sure Clement could finish what he started.

He did. And today, Clement is the first graduate in his entire family and a Senior Operations Executive at Flipkart.

This is what a scholarship actually does. It doesn’t just pay a fee. It holds someone steady at the moment they’re about to fall. It tells them their dream is worth fighting for. It changes the story of an entire family, not just one person.

Clement said it best: “Without the support of my college and Meenakshi Ma’am, I couldn’t have graduated, which was my biggest dream. I am proud to be the first graduate in my entire family, which has made my parents proud.”

We have supported over 6,000 scholars like Clement across India. Each one of them had a moment where the odds were against them. Each one of them made it through because someone chose to show up.
If you want to be that someone for the next Clement, the link is in our bio.
