Cricket Association for the blind in India - Samarthanam Trust for the disabled have been promoting blind cricket since 2010 with the objective to use the spirit of cricket to enable the visually impaired to look at life positively and again confidence in their ability to win.

School building is completed and we are looking forward to opening the doors for the hostel facilities and offices very soon. When dreams are dreamt and visions are made, and efforts are put in, nothing is impossible. We know that in no time and will also be built; and our children at Samarthanam can enjoy all the luxuries of education, accommodation and most of all, excellent play-space! From Caralisa to all our friends:

IMPORTANT - Next week is " Illusion " day !
I start running on the 25th of December 2014, 10:30 p.m from Portuguese Church, Dadar ( W), Mumbai.
I Hope to reach Sunday Morning the 28th of December , 2014, Post which i shall perform the Songs off my debut album " ILLUSION ".
"ALL" the proceeds from the downloads of the Album shall go directly to my NGO " ANGEL IN DISGUISE" which shall be operational by the 21st of January 2015. This money will go to breast cancer patients and their families. The NGO will have no operating cost, i shall personally pay for its rent, staff and other operating costs. Funds raised to go only towards helping those in need.
I shall update you on the various ways you can be an " ANGEL IN DISGUISE" in the coming days.
I will also donate 20% of live performance fees for life to the NGO.
Why am i running to Pune?
To raise awareness and to let every cancer patient know that i shall fight with them for as long as live. I know how it feels to loose a loved one. I have lost my entire family .
27th of December is also my sisters Birthday (All of this is in her memory )
Come by on the 25th to wish me luck, say a prayer, tell me i am not mad.

The higher education students of won 10 medals at the in Delhi. Here are some snaps where the staff were gathered to congratulate them all. Vasanti Savanur, the trustee of Samarthanam is handing them with the medals and certificates. Another achievement for us just before the year wraps up. Samarthanam Trust For Disabled
