✨ Celebrating a Proud Milestone! 🎓

We are delighted to share an interactive and informative update from the Vidya Chetana initiative. An online Graduation Ceremony was successfully conducted to celebrate the achievements of our medical scholars.

Five medical students supported through the Medical Scholarship sponsored by Saloni Heart Foundation (SHF) and implemented by Vidya Chetana, Youth for Seva, with student identification and examination support from Zindagi Foundation, have successfully completed their MBBS in FY 2025–26. The scholars are now stepping into the next important phase of their journey as they begin their medical internship programs.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of SHF Board Members and Directors, along with a Director from Zindagi Foundation, who interacted with the students, listened to their inspiring journeys, and shared words of encouragement as they move forward in the medical field.

It was a heartwarming moment as the graduating scholars shared their experiences and gratitude, reflecting on the support that helped them reach this significant milestone. Graduation certificates were also presented to the students, marking the successful completion of their medical education.

We congratulate the graduates and wish them the very best as they continue their journey to serve society through healthcare and compassionate medical service.

On 25th January, an interactive session was organized for students supported under the VidyaChetana and Prof. M. G. Gadad Program from villages near Bagalkote, including Teradal, Rabakavi, Banahatti, Hosur, Jamakhandi, Sanal, Koodalasangama, Gangihal, Hunagund and Murakanakere, at Banahatti. A total of 44 students participated in the session. The interaction focused on general do’s and don’ts of the scholarship, along with one-on-one interactions with each student to understand their academic progress and challenges.

This was followed by a clean-up drive as part of a volunteering activity, encouraging civic responsibility among the students. The session concluded with breakfast for all participants and informal networking among the students. Additionally, 19 home visits were conducted to better understand the students family backgrounds and living conditions.

Heritage Visit & Cleaning Drive at Melukote Sri Cheluva Narayana Swamy Betta organized by Vidya Chetana Scholars.

During the cleaning drive, the team collected 13 bags of garbage, with 42 VC students and 2 YFS full-timers participating, along with three Mysore VC students.

The visit also included Sri Bhoovaraha Swamy Temple and Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple near KRS, Mandya, where Chiguru certificates were distributed to VC students.

✨ A Day of Learning & Inspiration at State Street Corporate! ✨
3rd December

We had a truly wonderful in-house activity with our Vidya Chetana scholars, supported by State Street. The visit gave students an exciting opportunity to explore the State Street office and spend meaningful time with the leadership team through an interactive and engaging session.

Our scholars asked questions, shared their thoughts, and absorbed valuable knowledge from the leaders, making the day both inspiring and insightful. The State Street team also guided the students through an informative career session, followed by a practical workshop on “How to Build a Professional Resume,” helping them understand what it takes to present themselves professionally in the real world. To make the day even more special, bags were distributed to all the students who attended the session.

The entire experience was creative, engaging and filled with active participation as the students learned, interacted and connected with industry professionals. A total of 21 scholars took part in this impactful session, making it a memorable and enriching day for everyone.

With every such initiative, we continue to empower our students with the skills, confidence and opportunities they need to shape a brighter future. 🌟

“Seva is not just giving, it’s transforming lives with love and effort!”

On 22nd and 23rd November, 14 Vidya Chetana scholars came together for a meaningful seva activity at Government School, Gowdanapalya, Bengaluru. Through careful planning and teamwork, some scholars sketched outlines, others prepared colors, and many applied paint with focused dedication, while teachers and students observed with appreciation.

The combined efforts of these young scholars have brought vibrancy and renewed life to the school, exemplifying how dedicated service, even in small measures, can create a lasting and positive impact.

Vidya Chetana recently organized an Alumni Meet and Certification Ceremony to honor our graduating scholars. The event was graced by key donors, along with Vishwanath ji, Unni ji, and Pavan ji, who conducted an engaging session on the way forward—encouraging students to stay connected and contribute to the Youth for Seva ecosystem.

Around 80 students participated in the event, receiving their certificates from our esteemed donors. The ceremony was a heartwarming occasion, with graduates sharing their transformative journeys with Vidya Chetana and expressing how the scholarship support shaped their future.

Parents of the scholars also took the stage to express their heartfelt gratitude to the donors and the organization. The event concluded with donors extending their best wishes to the students as they embark on the next phase of their lives.

This gathering not only celebrated the success of our scholars but also reaffirmed the strength of the Vidya Chetana community in nurturing responsible and empowered individuals.
