Eid this year was a celebration of togetherness across spaces, as children and staff in different institutions and the community centre came together to share the day. From eating meals side by side to playing games, dancing, and enjoying music, every moment was filled with warmth and connection.
At the heart of it all was the intention to create positive memories for the children within the institutions, moments they can hold onto, especially while being away from home.
It wasn’t just about celebrating Eid, it was about building a sense of community that goes beyond walls, where everyone feels seen, connected, and at home.

“For the first time, it was about us. We got to meet ourselves.” House mother.

Ashiyana Foundation, invited by Muskaan facilitated a healing circle for 16 caretakers at Antar Bharti Child Care Institution. 🌸

House mothers who nurture childrbe ln a daily basis each found space to share their stories, shed burdens, look at the past, and let it go, laugh, cry, and rediscover strength in community. 💛

This is just the beginning of many such circles — where those who care for others are cared for too. 🌿

With a few toys in his hand, he found a way to cool down, to sit with himself, to breathe.

At Ashiyana, we hold space for children to feel, express, and gently discover their own ways to heal. 💛🤍🌸
