sh means, "to treasure and care for." This meaning lends itself to all of CherYsh's thought, action, and partnership choices as we accompany communities on their journey from life to livelihoods.CherYsh nurtures confidence in the girl child, brings joyful learning closer to her home, and prepares her for work-life choices. Through literacy, leadership, and livelihoods CherYsh secures the futures of poor rural women. The CherYsh approach underlines the importance of women as leaders of change in their communities; it underscores the importance of multi-stakeholder engagement in delivering on development goals; and it assigns great importance to shared value amongst communities, government and business.CherYsh also believes better futures for our poor women will be sustainable through robust use of data generated at the grassroots. By leveraging this data we aim to deliver services better, and on larger scale.
