There is no god but Allah. لا إله إلا الله

~ Islam treats the term ‘success’ in a much deeper and vaster meaning of the term than simply attaining something as transient as wealth, or fame or position! Islam treats wealth, or fame, or position in the life of this world as a distribution of the bounty of the Merciful Lord to any amongst His slaves as He Pleases, and not a barometer of success!

~ Islam treats the term ‘success’ in all its true manifestations; and guides to a path which will lead to ‘success’ or the accomplishment of one’s aim in this transient world, and in the eternal Hereafter; without separating the success of the world from the Hereafter! Islam guides to a Straight Path, which leads to success both in this world, and in the Hereafter. But without a doubt, Islam advocates and encourages its believers to strive and prefer the success of the Hereafter; for that is indeed what Allah Subhanah calls the Supreme Success! The Holy Quran emphasizes the importance of success a great deal. According to the Quran the successful ones are:

- Who believe in the unseen, establish prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them,
- And who believe in what has been revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith].
- Those are upon [right] guidance from their Lord, and it is those who are the successful.
[Al-Quran: Chapter 2 - Surah Al Baqarah: verses 3-5]

In another verse of the Glorius Quran Allah SWT Says in Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 69:

- All who obey Allah and the Messenger are in the company of those on whom is the Grace of Allah: of the Prophets, the sincere (lovers of truth), the witnesses (who testify), and the righteous (who do good):

11/02/2022

An unforgettable moment which was recorded in history. This was the scene of the Ka’bah in Masjid Al Haram exactly 2 years ago (10 Rajab 1441 AH).

This moment started a drastic change in how we visit the holiest place in Islam, how we enter Haram, how we perform umrah, and many more. As times gradually return to normal by the will of Allah, we hope to never witness such scenes again.

May Allah forgive us.

Ruling of Salat in front of the Imam

📕 Book: 'Al-Madinah al-Munawwarah: Its Virtues ~ Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi ~ The Prophet's Chamber'

🖋 Author: Sheikh Dr. Abdul Muhsin bin Muhammad Al-Qaasim

-
“”
The sunnah is that the followers pray behind the Imam, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "The Imam is (appointed) to be followed.”

If they (the congregation) pray in front of the Imam without a need, their prayer is not valid. Sheikh Ibn Qudamah said: “The Sunnah is for the worshipers to stand behind the Imam, and if they stand in front of him, it is not valid.”

If there is a valid reason -for example large crowding- there is nothing wrong with Salat in front of the Imam. Sheikh al-Islam ibn Taymiyyah said: “If he cannot pray with the congregation, except in front of the Imam; (then) he prays here for the need in front of him (the Imam), and it is the saying of some groups of people of knowledge and from the general principle:

“And from the complete principles mandated is that for the one who is legally incapacitated (unable) in Shari’ah, the obligation is dropped.”
