On 26th February 2026, forty school children of 8th and 9th std from Everest came for a visit to Trust office. They were accompanied by their Class teacher and science teacher They enjoyed the visit, ate star fruit, played in water and tried to catch fish. The teacher showed them different species of plants and explained the use of medicinal plants like Perende, alovera dodpatre, etc.

"For Reforestindia the year 2026 started with planting of 500 fruit tree saplings sponsored by Ashirvadam Trust, to the marginal farmers of Mulbagal, Huskur and Devanahalli and for a School in Mulbagal.

The saplings were bought on 19th January 2026 and transported to the respective place of planting.

100 tree saplings were planted for the farmers of Shanthipura - Huskur Gate, Anekal on 20th January. 26. Reforestindia volunteer Manjula coordinated with 10 farmers for the planting in Anekal Thaluk.

100 fruit trees like Coconut, Mango, Jamun, Amla, Starfruit, etc., were planted on 21st January for Jyothinivas Public School, Harappa Nayakanahalli Village. Gokunte, Mulbagal, in Kolar Dist. The principal Mr Shashi Kiran was happy to receive the saplings. He along with the PrincipL, teachers and students planted them. The school compound was devoid of plants/trees. The students enjoyed the planting.

150 fruit trees were planted in the afternoon for the marginal farmers of Thamareddyhalli and Rajendrahalli, Mulbagal Thaluk, Kolar Dist.

The coordination for the above 2 places was done by Reforestindia volunteers Nagaraj, Venkatamuniappa & Shankarappa. They identified the place, pits were made with a JCB and they were present at the time of planting.

150 fruit trees were planted on 24th January 2026 for 15 marginal farmers of Devanahalli and Sasalu Village. Our volunteer Raghavendra Prasad, who is an advocate, identified the farmers and was with us throughout the planting.

An appeal from Reforestindia for planting of fruit trees for the marginal farmers in interior Karnataka. We plant 10 trees per farmer to enhance their income. We distributed 39 blankets under 'Project Warmth' - RCBK to the aged, feeble and lame women and men of Siddenapalya, Surgajakkanahalli Panchayath, Anekal. On receiving invite BDO Mr Manjunath along with PDO and other Panchayath Officials travelled to this village and were happy to distribute the blankets. It was a good opportunity for the people of this remote village to meet the BDO in person and put across their woes to him. Most of them have not rec'd Old Age and Disability pension. Mr Manjunath took it up and could solve immdly as Panchayat officials were present. Thanks to RCBK for creating this opportunity for the people of Siddenapalya.
