To seek the welfare of all our community members residing in Bangalore by providing sound information and help relating to various needs like accommodation, education, career etc irrespective of their race, religions, caste or creed in general and to prepare them to become mature and responsible citizens of society through the all round physical, intellectual, academic, mental and spiritual develo
pment based on right values.
· To foster love, bonding and togetherness among community members through regular activities like Meghalaya Day Celebration, Christmas dinner, Fresher’s Day etc.
· To promote culture awareness with our neighbors through Cultural Programs, Food Festival, Press Conference, Seminars, Essay Competition Exhibitions etc
· To become a source of information for our brothers and sisters back home in relation to the education scene and career awareness in Bangalore.
· To become the voice of Meghalaya community in case of exigencies.
· To care and empathize all community members in case of death, sickness etc.
· To institute and award prizes in recognition of excellence in academic performance of students.
· To accept donations, grants, presents and other offerings (in the shape of movable or immovable properties) and the same shall be utilized by the promotion of aims and objects of the Association.
· To raise funds and resource for the attainment of any of the aims and objects of the association by all lawful means including investment of the funds, donation, fund – raising campaigns, cultural programs, sale of literature, property development, rent from the building etc.
· To contribute to society through various means including journal, magazines, write-ups in newspapers on different subjects and in different languages.
· To do or perform any other act which may be incidental or completive to the attainment of any of the object of the above society.
· To approach concerned authorities regarding the solution of problems of the community members.
· To provide social-economic help/assistance to poor and needy people of society.
