Indigenous Youth in India are constantly fighting an uphill battle.
🌿 Circle of Care: Rooted in Nature (a youth-led indigenous climate convening held from 14–17 August 2025) invited them to Breathe, Belong and Build together!
Conceptualised and organised by Indigenous youth leaders, curated by Youth Climate Centre, this convening brought together young people from diverse tribal communities across India to pause, reflect, and reconnect. Guided by the themes of Jameen (land), Jal (water), and Jungle (forest), Circle of care recognised the need to navigate the challenges of the climate crisis as not just a mission but also a practice of collective care.
Circle of Care, is also a call for allies to support climate movements that recognise care, wellbeing, and mental health as essential to sustaining leadership, climate action, and climate justice.
