OYYAL always strives to reach out to more under-privileged and lesser reached-out communities and help them progress in their social standards. On that note, we are very proud to add two more villages Manavaranapalli and Undiyalnatham to our learning centers. This takes our total tally of SEED Point learning centers to 18. Undiyalnatham located near Veppanapalli in Krishnagiri district, is filled with more ST community people. Looking at the current state of people and students, we could realize the amount of work which needs to be done to make a continuous progress in their academics and livelihood. With continuous mentoring and regular training sessions to our tutor Mrs.Kamala who is an anganwadi worker, we believe change is only a matter of time. Another new village Manavaranapalli located near Neralagiri in Krishnagiri district is also a most backward village. All students from this village are from SC category and we are very happy to work with them to elevate their academic and social skills with the help of our tutor Mr.Madhaiah who seems very dedicated and focussed on our results oriented plans. Meeting the children from these villages and getting to know their interests and family backgrounds was heart-warming. After visiting the new centers, we visited our other centers Kuriyanapalli, Neralagiri, Tharanisandram as well. Students were very much excited to meet us in our surprise visit and showcased their reading, singing, drawing, dancing and other creative and artistic skills to us. Overall, the visit was very productive in knowing the progress of students' learning, challenges in improvement of few students. The response from students and tutors was very encouraging.
