Road Safety Awareness Program at RTO

A Road Safety Awareness Program was successfully conducted at the Jayanagar RTO to promote responsible driving and road safety practices among the public.

The program was graced by Nannina Bidalare serial actor Partha, who visited the Jayanagar RTO and interacted with participants. He appreciated the initiative and shared positive feedback, highlighting the importance of such awareness programs in building safer communities.

With the rapid increase in vehicles and road usage, awareness about road safety has become essential, especially for school-going children and pedestrians.

Inauguration of Skill Development Centre ❤️

We’re happy to share that Need Base India has taken a meaningful step toward empowering marginalized youth through skills development. On 22nd January 2026, with the support of United Way Bengaluru, Need Base India inaugurated a Skill Development Center to equip youth with practical skills in Electrical work, Plumbing, and Computer Hardware, along with job placement support. This initiative marks an important milestone in creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for young people from underserved communities.

🚦 Road Safety Awareness in Action – Jayanagar 👁️🎭🛑

We successfully conducted a series of road safety initiatives in Jayanagar. An Eye Camp at Jayanagar RTO benefited 112 people, especially commercial drivers, with the support of Mr. V. P. Ramesh, RTO.

This was followed by an engaging street play at Forum Mall, spreading awareness on drink & drive, helmet use, seat belts, underage driving, and road safety through powerful skits that attracted the public.

The campaign concluded with a road safety awareness drive at Konanakunte Signal, where a creative Yamadharma act and friendly interaction by traffic officials highlighted the importance of safe helmets and traffic discipline.

Together, let’s drive responsibly and save lives.

Standing Together &Strong in Times of Crisis

During this month, with the support of Bright Funds & VMware, Need Base India extended emergency relief to flood-affected families in Uttar Pradesh.

Emergency nutrition kits and blankets were distributed to the 2000+ most vulnerable families, especially those severely impacted by the floods, helping them meet their immediate food and survival needs during this difficult time.

In moments when everything is washed away, hope, care, and timely support make all the difference. Together, we are turning compassion into action and standing with communities when they need it the most.

On 30th November, Need Base India – Free Basics Girls Home proudly hosted Abhinaya 2025, a cultural showcase dedicated to the classical art of Bharatanatyam. The event provided a beautiful platform for our students to showcase their talent, discipline, and months of dedicated training through graceful, expressive performances.

The atmosphere was filled with pride and joy as each student took to the stage with confidence, reflecting not only artistic excellence but also personal growth and self-belief. Abhinaya 2025 was a testament to our continuous effort to nurture holistic development by encouraging cultural education alongside academics.

The event concluded with heartfelt appreciation for the students, mentors, and supporters who made the program a grand success. It was truly an inspiring celebration of tradition, talent, and transformation.
