ALAI - A team dedicated towards the welfare of street dogs in Bangalore.

Animal Lives Are Important (Trust Reg No: MLS-4-00075-2017-18), , is a dog rescue & rehabilitation shelter for injured, abandoned and abused dogs in Bangalore.

The rescued dogs at ALAI all have had a terrible tale of cruelty and pain but undoubtedly are the most loved and cared for dogs in Bangalore.

Receiving emergency calls round -the -clock about injured animals, hit-and-run cases, tortured pets; tumor burst dogs, canine distemper dogs, abandoned pets and many others. ALAI has rescued ripped apart puppies to immobile old dogs and this center holds 220+ dogs at any given time, who roam freely in the shelter premises.

Also known for their never give up attitude have always believed in giving second chances to dogs on verge of being put down. These dogs have been nurtured to a complete recovery and evidence based care has time and again proved the excellent outcome and recovery at ALAI - the no kill -no kennel center.

Filled with wagging tails and wet noses, Alai consists of passionate members whose compassion, love and kindness has had a ripple effect on the lives of many

Expenses at ALAI:

To sustain the ongoing rescues and ensuring proper care and treatment , ALAI incurs a whopping fixed expense of approx 8 Lakhs per month which stand as below:

How you can HELP ALAI:-

Be a monthly contributor by donating towards fixed expenses. Donate as less as 500/- per month to any amount you wish

Celebrate an occasion , an anniversary with their dogs by sponsoring a day's meal at 2500/- which covers 2 time meals for 220 dogs .This is as low as 5rs per meal. The difference is pitched in by ALAI to cover for remaining dogs

Sponsor an ABC surgery of the village dogs not covered under the municipal limits at 1800/- per dog which covered surgery, anti rabies vaccine, 3 days post operative care and post operative medicines

Donate/Sponsor towards monthly variable needs of shelter _600 litres phenyl _30 bottles Dettol/lifebuoy Hand wash _65 kgs surf excel/tide/Ariel _2500-2800 kgs of rice _250 fleece blankets
