✨ Baalya Akshara 3 – A Grand Success! ✨

We are delighted to share that Baalya Akshara 3 was successfully completed on 5th September, reaching three rural schools across Vijayanagara and Shimogga districts.

- Hanasi, Vijayanagara District – Science lab equipment gifted to empower young minds.
- B B Thanda – Classroom boards and stationery items distributed to students, fueling their learning journey.
- Kuskooru – New classroom doors installed, creating a better learning environment.

🙏 Heartfelt thanks to the dedicated school staff for warmly welcoming Baalya volunteers and hosting the events.

💪 A big shout-out to all the volunteers who took the lead in raising funds, and to our generous donors and supporters whose contributions—direct or indirect—made this initiative a resounding success.

This year, Baalya Foundation is launching the " *Akshara 3 - 2026* " Program on *5th and 6th of September* to empower education in *Vijayanagara, Shivamogga and Hassan districts* of *Karnataka.*

Through this initiative, we will:
🎒 Provide school kits (bag, notebooks, science lab equipments), school infrastructure (doors, writing boards) to government school.
🎓 Offer scholarships to meritorious students to encourage their academic journey.

Baalya Foundation is happy to share that today we handed over a cheque of ₹10K to Mrs. Geetha R.M. to support the education of her daughter, who is studying in 1st PUC.
Mrs. Geetha is a single parent working as a housekeeper to meet her family's daily needs. We hope this small contribution helps her daughter continue her education with confidence and pursue her dreams.

From the coastal belt of Karavali Karnataka—Hebri, Kadthala, Kukkuje, Moodabidire, and Patrame—AKSHARA 2026 has illuminated schools with hope, opportunity, and progress.

✨ *Transformative Initiatives*

*Education Support* : School kits with uniforms, bags, notebooks, umbrellas, pens, and pencils for every child.

*Infrastructure Development* : Inauguration of LKG & UKG classrooms, RO plant installations, interlock flooring, and Nali Kali equipment.

*Women Empowerment* : Scholarships of ₹10,000 each for needy girl students, enabling higher education and brighter futures.

*Green Initiative* : Fruit-bearing sapling plantations at Donderangadi to promote sustainability and a healthier ecosystem.

*Community Support* : Chairs and water facilities for anganwadis, strengthening grassroots education.

🌿 *Impact Across Schools*

*Hebri* (Udupi): Classroom inaugurations (LKG and UKG), uniforms, bags, notebooks, umbrellas distribution to school students

*Kadthala* (Udupi): Punpset facility at Anganwadi, chairs handover.

*Kukkuje* (Udupi): School kit (bag, notebooks, pen, pencils) distribution.

Donderangadi (Udupi): Green initiative with sapling plantation.

*Moodabidire* (Dakshina Kannada): chairs handover to school.

*Patrame* (Dakshina Kannada): School kit distribution (bag, notebooks, pen, pencils), interlock deployment, Nali Kali rack handover, RO purifier installation, scholarship of 10,000 Rs each for girls students.

Saddened to share the news of the demise of Shree Dr Puttaswamy Gowda. He served as doctor in USA defence. He was 92 years and lived in USA with his wife and two daughters.

Dr Puttaswamy sir was one of the major donor for our Baalya Foundation. His service to people of India was memorable even he stayed abroad.

His message to Baalya Foundation and young generation was to serve the people with love and reduce the corruption as much as possible,so that most of the talents can get opportunities and recognition in India.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family.

We are thrilled to announce that yesterday 3rd Jan 2026, marked a significant milestone for Baalya Foundation as we celebrated 16 wonderful years of service!🤝 🎊🎊

Now, as we step into our *17th year* , let’s continue to work together, driven by our commitment to making a positive impact and serving our community. Thank you all volunteers,donars for all support ,hard work and dedication. 😍🙏
