But the thought which lead to its formation came much before in the most unlikely places. During a college trip in the sands of Rajasthan, a group of youngsters on a 10 hour bus trip were deeply involved in fierce debating. Arranged marriage', the group discussed various socially provoking topics and towards the end came up a question so simple yet profound in nature. What is the root of success?
After another round of debating the group reached a conclusion that out of the various reasons for success, it definitely came to those who worked for the betterment of others. A deep reflection left them pondering on what they had done to help others around them? Did they use their gifts for the good of others? After that, a proposal popped to work together for the betterment of the society through collective actions. With a promise to meet a few days later to take the thought forward the group met again, here they solidified their commitment into a group which had a purpose, a few simple ways to start achieving that purpose and a name to be identified with. They like to believe that fate bought them together but they chose to be together. Thus, Yuva Ignited Minds was born.
