**Call for Volunteers – BxR Newsletter Initiative**

Hi everyone,
Budigere Cross Rising (BxR) is launching a community newsletter for the Mandur area, focused on RWAs, local updates, civic issues, resident stories, and useful neighborhood information.

We’re looking for volunteers who can support us with:
• Writing and editing
• Gathering local updates
• Connecting with RWAs and residents
• Design and social media
• Photography and event coverage
• Sponsor outreach

You do not need prior experience - just interest, ideas, and a willingness to contribute and volunteer for a social cause.

***Stray Dog Menace in Bengaluru RWAs – Time to act***

Several Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) across Bengaluru are grappling with the growing menace of stray dogs entering gated communities. This is no longer just a nuisance—it’s a serious safety concern for children, senior citizens, and all residents.

The root cause lies in the inefficiency of local Panchayats and BBMP in managing stray populations on public streets. Their inaction has led to an uncontrolled rise in numbers, forcing stray dogs into private residential areas in search of food and shelter.

We’re calling on the authorities to act now. Stray dogs that enter private society premises must be relocated humanely and without legal complications.

We’ve raised this concern on Twitter as well. Support us by retweeting and amplifying our collective voice. The more we speak up, the stronger our case for safe and livable communities.

We are delighted to share a proud milestone with all of you!

The staff of the Government School at Laggumenahalli, under the Mandur Gram Panchayat, recently felicitated the office bearers and members of Budigere Cross Rising (BXR) for our collective contributions toward the development and welfare of the school and its wonderful students.

It was a true honour to collaborate with the dedicated Headmaster and teaching staff on several initiatives aimed at creating a nurturing learning environment for the children.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to those who, due to prior commitments, couldn’t attend the ceremony but have played an integral role in this journey:
