It was a prestigious moment when recently our Team Director Swati Athmanathan mam was invited as a the Chief Guest of Honour for The Arangetram celebration of the students ( Keerthana, Kirti & Asmitha) of Vriksham School of Fine Arts- Chennai run by the Artistic Director

We do know, Arangetram is never just a solo performance; it is the physical manifestation of a Guruβs lifeβs work and years of discipline. Vriksham School known for its uncompromising standards highlights how the studentsβ precision, stamina, and Bhavas are direct reflection of Teacherβs meticulous molding over the years. Through the entire performance, the eyes pricked up with a thought that it takes immense mental- physical energy to anchor a student through an entire Margam. Guru Sowmyaβs choreography and vision showcased not just technical brilliance but Sculpting the dancers, anchoring the lineage, imparting the nuances of the parampara with an uncompromising set of outstanding musicians thrives her excellence at par!
Institutions like this are the backbone of keeping classical dance vibrant and elite on the global level and so are they sole reasons to motivate NGOs like .dish to promote little stars growing on this temple ground coined as Dance Class!
