Hello everyone from Clothes2Causes,

This fortnight is time for our first time ever, “Quilted love.”

Here, we are going to be giving away a series of unique one-of-a-kind quilts at fair prices. One being bought, our firm will take it upon themselves to craft another quilt which will be donated to Goonj, to spread the love of this season, as we step in from the old year to the new.

The pictures of the donated quilts will be put up on the site and the purchaser of the quilt will stand to get a letter proving donation in their name.

To kick start this series, we have a gorgeous single quilt (60 inches x 90 inches) in the classical diamond pattern with a modern twist. With bold block colours set off against a striped indigo border, it exemplifies timelessness.

The entire quilt is composed of 200 pieces. Owing to the fact that it is pre-washed, none of the colours will run. This wadding (stuffing) is exclusive unbleached cotton wadding which will never crimple.

Price: 3800Rs

Hi Friends. This is a kowdi work attempted by me . Would like to thank Nirmala Akka for her dedication and commitment in teaching the art of kowdi to us. I would like to also thanks Savita and the buda team for facilitating and introducing us to akka and the art of kowdi. It was a wonderful experience and sure we all had a good time

Winter Quilts for a Cause

Hello Friends

Clothes2Causes offers for sale a few one of a kind quilts for Winter. The income from the sale of these quilts would be used for making 80 sitting mats for the children of Government School, Haralur Road, Bangalore 560102.
These small children are at present sitting on the bare cement floor in the class rooms.
All quilts are 100 % cotton and are machine washable(cold).

Dear friends,

We at Clothes2Causes have started our Winter Campaign of donating quilts to the needy .These quilts will be distributed to places in India where it is very cold through Goonj .
We are grateful for the overwhelming response during the Earthquake Campaign in Nepal .
This response has encouraged us to make requests for donations of old saris , bed sheets and curtains .
We are O.K if the clothes are slightly torn but please do not give dirty clothes .
We will keep you posted over the progress and we look forward to your support .
We also up-cycle people's clothes and make it into quilts, bags ,pencil pouches etc .

Dear friends,
We at Clothes2causes (Non-profit trust) would like to be a part of the international yoga day .We have made trendy up-cycled yoga mat sling bags using sturdy denim/trouser material .
The cost of each unit is Rs 600 (including free delivery in Karnataka)

We are very glad and satisfied on having completed 50 quilts for the earthquake cause and have handed it over to Goonj on Saturday .
Our heartfelt thanks to all friends who have contributed towards the cause .This experience has motivated us to continue the work of making quilts for old age homes and orphanages ...
We would be accepting beedsheets and curtains for our cause .

We at Clothes2Causes are pleased to say that we have completed 25 quilts towards the Nepal cause .This was possible only with the hard work put in by the team .
A special thanks to all those friends who wholeheartedly contributed towards the cause.
However we still have 25 more quilts to be completed .
so your contribution of old sheets ,curtains and long cloth pieces will be appreciated .
