An organization which started with 5 members today has over 5,000 members comprising of students and working professionals who come together during weekends to contribute their bit t

🌱 Inspiring young minds to become changemakers!

Youth for Parivarthan had the privilege of being invited as Chief Guest at the NSS Orientation Programme of Sri Jagadguru Renukacharya College of Science, Arts & Commerce on 8th August 2026, where we spoke to students about the power of volunteering, service and social responsibility, drawing from 12+ years of grassroots experience.

The programme was graced by Dr. H. G. Govinda Gowda, NSS Coordinator, Dr MMS Bangalore City University; Mr. Shrishail Yadahalli, District Co-operative Training Officer; Shri Mahesh K. B., Vice Chairman, MSME; and Dr. Rajaneesh Kumar H. V., Academic Director, SJRES.

It was also a proud moment for our Trustee & Internship Coordinator Mr.Srinivasa.A.S., and our core team member Mr.M.U.Somashekar to share the stage during the release of the college’s NSS uniform and the ceremonial flag handover to the new batch of students.

The programme marked the beginning of a meaningful collaboration, with students set to actively participate in Youth for Parivarthan’s volunteering initiatives and an MOU being signed to formalise this partnership.

Here’s to nurturing a stronger culture of volunteering, leadership and civic responsibility among our youth! 💚

When an elected representative takes the time to personally acknowledge citizens’ efforts, it makes the work even more meaningful. 💚

Today, Hon’ble MLA of Rajajinagar, Sri S. Suresh Kumar Sir, personally visited and inspected the spot at Kamakshipalya where Team Youth For Parivarthan recently carried out a complete clean-up and beautification drive.

What made this visit even more special was that, despite his busy schedule, Sir had personally called our founder Sri.Amith Amarnath to congratulate and appreciate the entire team for the successful transformation of the spot.

During the conversation, Sir also enquired about the unfortunate altercation that took place during the event. We apprised him of the circumstances and explained what had transpired.

We are truly grateful to Suresh Kumar Sir for taking the time to personally reach out, understand the situation, appreciate the efforts of our volunteers. 🙏🏻

He parked. He yelled. He called our work “nonsense.” But what happened next? 👀 While our volunteers were cleaning and beautifying a public space in Kamakshipalya, a man insisted on parking in a No Parking zone, abused the volunteers and created a scene. Even after the police got involved, he left the spot scot-free despite of violating traffic rules. 🚨

Is this acceptable civic behaviour? 🤔 Why should citizens volunteering to improve our city face this? And if the person who created the scene can simply leave, how right is it? Watch till the end and tell us what you think. 👇

Swipe ⏩️ This wasn’t just a cleanup. It was a comeback. 👉🔥

A major black & yellow spot beside Kamakshipalya Traffic Police Station had become a public urination hotspot, despite public toilets being available nearby.

The footpath was broken, the curb stones damaged and the walking tiles were in no condition to walk on.

65 volunteers from Youth For Parivarthan in association with Bengaluru West City Corporation, stepped in. We jointly cleaned the spot, repaired the curb stones, fixed the walking path and tiles and made the footpath usable, walkable and welcoming again. ✨

From a neglected corner to a bright spot. Now, Bengaluru, let’s keep it that way.

Because civic sense doesn’t end when the volunteers leave. It begins there. 💛
