From Seed to Forest 💚

At Being Volunteer, every tree begins its journey in our nursery at Mhalunge Forest Land. Our volunteers collect native seeds, which are carefully sown in soil-filled grow bags. With proper care and regular maintenance, these seeds grow into healthy saplings.🌱

The saplings are nurtured in the nursery for one year, growing to a height of approximately 3–3.5 feet. During this time, they receive continuous care to develop strong roots and improve their survival rate.

After a year of nurturing, these healthy saplings are planted at Mhalunge Forest Land, where they contribute to restoring green cover and creating a healthier, more sustainable environment for future generations.🌳
