🤝 Engaging Leadership & Strengthening Tax Dialogues

A delegation from the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce (BCIC), led by President CA K Ravi, recently met with Smt. Vidisha Kalra, IRS, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income-tax (Karnataka & Goa Region).

Accompanying the President were:

During the interaction, CA K Ravi briefed the PCCIT on BCIC’s key initiatives and sectoral activities. On behalf of BCIC, he extended a formal invitation to Smt. Vidisha Kalra to deliver the Keynote Address at the upcoming workshop on “New Income-Tax Act, 2025 and Rules: Understanding the Nuances and the Transitional Challenges” scheduled for September 7, 2026.

A BCIC CSR delegation, led by Mr. G V Rao, Chairman, CSR Expert Committee & Director, Volvo Group India, visited Mysuru, Hunsur Taluka, and Pandavapura to strengthen collaborations for impactful CSR initiatives.

The delegation engaged with Bherunda Foundation, led by Sri Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar and Princess Trishika Kumari Wadiyar, discussing initiatives in environmental conservation, cyber awareness, AI education, entrepreneurship, and inclusive community development.

The team also visited Om Shree Gurulinga Jangamadevara Jana Kalyana Trust to explore support for educational infrastructure, including a girls' hostel, library, digital classrooms, and science laboratories. At Pustaka Mane in Pandavapura, the delegation inaugurated a water purification plant donated by Volvo Group India, supporting one of India's most remarkable public libraries.
