Mitra Foundation Based in Bangalore, Mitra Foundation is a charitable trust which facilitates groups of individuals engage in focused voluntary work to give back to society.

The trust does this by offering a framework for helping needy individuals and communities. Mitra Foundation is set up as an umbrella under which there will be multiple funds, each catering to a specific initiative. Our vision is to inspire people to come together for various causes and provide the framework for them to translate the good intentions to impact. Currently, our first initiative/fund i

Jeevan Shakti Fund is set up to support the needy families of terminally ill cancer patients (specifically if it is the breadwinner), and give them the "strength to live" beyond the misfortune. Mitra Foundation recently conducted its annual counseling session for the children of beneficiary families. The session targeted students in 9th standard and above, aiming to guide them in selecting future academic streams that would enable them to become financially independent sooner.

The core objective was to encourage students to pursue diploma certification courses or any other skill development programs, allowing them to start earning and subsequently finance their own education.

The counseling session was successfully conducted, with numerous children from beneficiary families benefiting from the guidance.

Notably, a few children have already achieved financial independence and are supporting their families as well as financing their own further education. Some of these children were invited for felicitation and to share their experience to inspire and motivate the other attendees.

Mitra Foundation is thrilled to contribute to the betterment of these young individuals and will stay committed in empowering
them to achieve financial self-reliance and success.
