Mitra Foundation Based in Bangalore, Mitra Foundation is a charitable trust which facilitates groups of individuals engage in focused voluntary work to give back to society.

The trust does this by offering a framework for helping needy individuals and communities. Mitra Foundation is set up as an umbrella under which there will be multiple funds, each catering to a specific initiative. Our vision is to inspire people to come together for various causes and provide the framework for them to translate the good intentions to impact. Currently, our first initiative/fund i

s set up : "Jeevan Shakti Fund"

Jeevan Shakti Fund is set up to support the needy families of terminally ill cancer patients (specifically if it is the breadwinner), and give them the "strength to live" beyond the misfortune. Meet Ujjwal, a beneficiary of Mitra Foundation, now in his 2nd year of Engineering at Dayanand Sagar College Bangalore.

We have supported Ujjwal since Class 7 and are incredibly proud to see him advancing in his higher studies.
