Girija Shastry, mother of Shri AnanthKumar, MP Bangalore South, who dedicated her life to serving the poor and the underprivileged. Starting in a small way with conducting ‘tailoring classes’ for poor girls (1998), computer training for girls (1999), innovative web portal for blood donation (www.raktadan.org) an

d Aata-Paatha (2001), Adamya Chetana has touched the lives of thousands through its various projects. Annapoorna, the midday meal programme of Adamya Chetana reaches over 2 Lakh children in thousands of schools across Bangalore, Hubli, Gulbarga and Jodhpur. The nutritious tasty meals are hygienically prepared at well-equipped kitchens set up specially for this project with the help of government and donors. Recent initiatives of Adamya Chetana have yielded exciting results making Annapoorna, a Zero-garbage kitchen. Our search for alternate fuels has enabled us to effectively use bio-Fuels derived from waste saving the otherwise used fossil based fuels - 60 LPG cylinders or 300 liters of Diesel per day. Shri Ananthkumar, Member of Parliament from Bangalore South is the chief patron of Adamya Chetana, a 17 year old organization that has worked in various areas to bring about societal development.

"ಹಸಿರು ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯೂ ಸೇರಲಿ!"

ಜಟ್ಟಿಗರಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಮುನೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿದ 545ನೇ ಹಸಿರು ಭಾನುವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ನಾವೇ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಎಲ್ಲರಲ್ಲೂ ಎದ್ದು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

ವಿಶ್ವ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನದ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಜೂನ್ 07, 2026 ರಂದು ಜಟ್ಟಿಗರಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಮುನೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಅದಮ್ಯ ಚೇತನದ 545ನೇ ಹಸಿರು ಭಾನುವಾರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.

ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿನಿ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ್‌ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ, "ಹಸಿರಾಗಿ ಬದುಕೋಣ, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸೋಣ" ಎಂಬ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಪುಟ್ಟ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಹಿರಿಯರವರೆಗೆ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೋತ್ಥಾನ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ನಾಗರಿಕರು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ಪರಿಸರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

"ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ದಿನವಲ್ಲ, ವರ್ಷದ 365 ದಿನಗಳೂ ಪರಿಸರ ದಿನವಾಗಬೇಕು" ಎಂಬ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಸಾರಿದ ಈ ಹಸಿರು ಅಭಿಯಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪರಿಸರ ಪ್ರೇಮಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.

ಗಿಡ ನೆಡೋಣ, ಗಿಡ ಬೆಳೆಸೋಣ, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸೋಣ, ನಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಹಸಿರು ಪರಿಸರವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸೋಣ.

ಇಂದು ವಿಶ್ವವು ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹವಾಮಾನ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯದಂತಹ ಗಂಭೀರ ಸವಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇವಲ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಸಾಕಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ನಾಗರಿಕನ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆಯೂ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಪರಿಸರದ ಬಗೆಗಿನ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರ ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿಯೇ ನಾವು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ನೀಡಬಹುದಾದ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆ.

- ಅನ್ನಪೂರ್ಣ ಅಡುಗೆ ಮನೆಯ ಹಸಿರು ಮಾದರಿ: 100% ಪಳೆಯುಳಿಕೆ ರಹಿತ ಇಂಧನ ಬಳಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಶೂನ್ಯ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ (Zero Waste) ತತ್ವದ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನ.

- ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯದಿಂದ ಶಕ್ತಿಯತ್ತ: ಜೈವಿಕ ಅನಿಲ (Biogas) ಮತ್ತು ಬ್ರಿಕೆಟ್ ವಿಧಾನಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿ ನೋಡದೆ, ಅದನ್ನೊಂದು ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಮೂಲವಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸುವ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ.

- 545ನೇ ವಾರದತ್ತ 'ಹಸಿರು ಭಾನುವಾರ': ದಿವಂಗತ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನವು ಇಂದು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರ ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೃಹತ್ ಜನಾಂದೋಲನವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿದೆ.

- ತೇಜಸ್ವಿನಿ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ: ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ತೇಜಸ್ವಿನಿ ಅನಂತಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇವಲ ಗಿಡ ನೆಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗದೆ, ಅವುಗಳ ನಿರಂತರ ಪೋಷಣೆ, ನೀರಾವರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಸಮಾನ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
