WBPO YOUNG LEADERS PROGRAM (YLP)
The Young Leaders Program (YLP) is a unique initiative of WBPO to help new MBA hires develop a problem solving persona and gain a fresh perspective to help WBPO do business better. This program engages freshly inducted Management Trainees (MT’s) for the duration of two years.

During the two years through the program, the MT’s will be sub
jected to role rotations and spend 8 months in each stint such as in Operations for the first 8 months, in functions like Quality, Base, Business transformation followed by presales and solutions. While they are into learning the regular aspects of the role, they will also carry out an additional task to add value to the role that they are in, by applying continuous improvement methods and applied innovation. Such a structure will give MT’s enough challenges to learn and sharpen their business acumen and yet become an expert in each area that they dwell into.

The aim of the program is to develop leaders for tomorrow and provide them with better opportunities depending on their interest after having exposed to different sets of roles. The YLP program accelerates career growth during the two years wide structure, cutting edge learning and mentorship programs. YLP MT’s are mentored by experienced professionals and the entire initiative will be governed by senior level management of WBPO and HR teams.

A first-of-its-kind initiative in Wipro, YLP is the platform to take the first step towards becoming a global leader in the corporate world. It will provide Wipro BPO the leading edge to leverage the fresh ideas and do business better.
