Staff appreciation post :)

Most people only see the outcome of a camp… the adventure and fun.

But behind the scenes is more work than most can tell.

Organising, cleaning, travel and many a sleepless night.

Today, the team spent many an hour prepping our dinghy’s for an upcoming program.

A great one day program In Bangarpet.

It was more than adventure and creativity, it was about listening, valuing and the allowing of lessons to freely shape one’s heart and impact the course of their life.

We were honoured to play a small part in these kids lives and were even more touched by the amount of effort and love their teachers pour into them every day so devotedly.

Our Summer Camp is being postponed —
but something we’re really excited about is still on the way.

We’re taking this time to shape the experience into something even more meaningful for the kids who’ll be part of it.

We had the privilege of facilitating the journey of some incredibly brave students as they completed their Bronze-level trekking expedition.

Over the course of the program, we watched them cover a lot of ground—not just physically, but emotionally and as a team.

They learned how to:
• Navigate unfamiliar terrain
• Set up camp
• Resolve conflicts
• Lead with empathy
…and so much more.

We’re grateful to have walked alongside them for this journey and are excited for their next big journey and the lessons that come from it!
