A beautiful note from a first time volunteer at A little Dream she attended the summer camp on 19th April at a Boy's home .

"Hello everyone :)

My name is Varsh*ta. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit an orphanage for the very first time through ALD, and it turned out to be far more meaningful than I had imagined. Spending time with the children was a deeply humbling experience, it gently shifted my perspective on what truly matters.

What stayed with me the most was how effortlessly the children found joy in the smallest things - a shared balloon game, a sparkle in their eyes and enthusiasm for every magic trick shown by Magician Nagendra Prasad. Their curiosity, their openness, and their unfiltered smiles carried a kind of purity that is rare to come across in everyday life.

I also had the chance to meet some truly wonderful people who were volunteering there. It was reassuring to see how compassion brings people together, all driven by the simple goal of giving back.

The entire experience made me reflect on how often we overlook the little moments, constantly chasing something bigger, while happiness quietly exists in simplicity. It wasn’t just about giving my time, it felt like I received something far more valuable in return, a renewed sense of gratitude and a reminder to appreciate life as it is.

It’s an experience that left a lasting impact on me, a heartfelt gratitude to everyone involved for making this experience as one of my core memory in my life :)"

"Love needs no words as it is the Universal Language from the Heart ❤️ "

This Valentine’s Day, we chose something different.
No roses. No fancy dinners. No grand gestures.

Instead, we spent our day where love is needed the most — with children who rarely hear the words “You are loved.” ❤️

At a small local daycare center, we celebrated with the children of ragpickers, migrant workers, and daily wage earners. For a few precious hours, the world felt lighter. There was laughter echoing through the room, tiny hands busy with colorful craftwork, eyes sparkling with excitement over simple goodie bags, and smiles that could melt the hardest hearts. ✨

We didn’t just distribute treats — we shared stories, hugs, encouragement, and undivided attention. And in return, they gave us something priceless: pure, unfiltered joy.

The volunteers left with hearts fuller than the bags we gave away. Because sometimes, the most beautiful gifts are invisible — they are felt deeply, carried quietly, and remembered forever. ❤️

Beyond roses and candies, we redefined Valentine’s Day by bringing a sense of belonging to children in the slums who rarely get to hear 'I Love You.' ❣️

On February 14th, we brought joy and warmth to the children of ragpickers, migrant workers, and daily wage earners at a local daycare center, proving to them that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.✨🥰

Spending few hours with them, reminded us: "The most beautiful things in this world cannot be seen or even heard, but must be felt with the heart."❤️
