Public Affairs Centre (PAC) is a not for profit organization, established in 1994 that is dedicated to improving the quality of governance in India. The focus of PAC is primarily in areas where citizens and civil society organizations can play a proactive role in improving governance.

Public Affairs Centre is pleased to announce the signing of a three-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Public Health, Bengaluru.

This collaboration brings together the strengths of both institutions to advance evidence-based research, policy engagement, capacity building, programme evaluation, and knowledge sharing. We are confident that this partnership will contribute to stronger public institutions and improved governance and public health outcomes.

We look forward to a meaningful and productive collaboration with the IPH Bengaluru team.

Training Successfully Concluded

Public Affairs Centre (PAC) successfully concluded the one-day training programme for field enumerators for the study "Tied vs. Untied Grants: Grassroots Development Initiatives in Karnataka."

We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Manjula R., Associate Professor, Centre for Decentralisation and Development, Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC) and Mr. Murali, Resarcher, ISEC for leading the sessions and sharing their expertise.

Our heartfelt thanks to all the participants for their enthusiastic engagement and commitment throughout the programme. We wish the field team every success as they begin the next phase of this important research.

Training in Progress

Public Affairs Centre (PAC) is conducting a one-day training programme for field enumerators for the study "Tied vs. Untied Grants: Grassroots Development Initiatives in Karnataka."

The session is led by Dr. Manjula R., Associate Professor, Centre for Decentralisation and Development, Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), preparing the field team for systematic and high-quality data collection across Karnataka.

As PAC begins this new chapter, a pooja was held at our new office on Cunningham Road to mark the occasion. Having now moved into the new premises, we look forward to continuing our work with renewed purpose, fresh ideas, and new opportunities for collaboration.
